Will Iran weightlifting be banned?

TEHRAN, July 4 (MNA) -- Iran’s weightlifting federation is on the verge of being banned for life due to unlawful doping activities of Iranian athletes.

Sources close to the federation said on Sunday that nine Iranian weightlifters have tested positive for forbidden substances.
The Iranian federation has already been fined twice for doping violations and if it is condemned for a third time it would be banned for life.
