Tuesday, May 11 there will be two events in solidarity with the people of Iran. The first is an emergency action called by local activists, in response to the execution last weekend of 5 Iranian Kurdish political prisoners by the Islamic Republic. Meet at 4:30pm at Iran's Mission to the UN, 41st Street and 3rd Avenue.

The second event explores the issue of targeted sanctions on Iran, with a lively debate between scholars - 7pm at NYU (Hagop Kevorkian Center, 50 Washington Square South).

A group of us are gathering in front of the Iranian Mission to UN to show our disgust and outrage at yesterday's summary executions by the Islamic Republic.

Please make an effort and join us! It's important not to let the regime carry out this sort of assault without expecting any
opposition.
