Hungarian Parliament condemns persecution of Bahá'ís in Iran

Member of Parliament, Ms. Erzsébet Geberle spoke for the human rights
of the Bahá’ís of Iran. She highlighted the
imprisonment of the 7 Bahá’í leaders. Vilmos Szabó, Senior State Secretary expressed the support of the
government:

(1) Hungary will keep on co-sponsoring the resolution on
the human rights of Iran that was initiated by Canada at the UN General
Assembly

(2) Hungary feels necessary to have observers at the trial of
the Iranian Bahá’í leadership.
