Elad said the arrests represent a "dramatic increase in attempts to silence dissent" that he believes began during last year's offensive in Gaza, when Israel arrested hundreds of anti-war protesters, mostly Arab citizens of Israel.

Israeli police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld dismissed allegations of an arrest campaign and said recent protests in east Jerusalem did not have the required permits.

"There's
no campaign whatsoever," he said. "When there's a right wing or left
wing, or Jewish or non-Jewish or Christian or Muslim demonstration ...
they have to be fully coordinated with the police."

The
residents of Bilin have marched every Friday since 2005 toward the
barrier that separates villagers from 60 percent of their land. Last
year, Nobel Peace Prize laureates Jimmy Carter and Desmond Tutu dropped by for a visit. Nearby Naalin started similar marches two years ago.

Israel says the barrier seeks to keep out Palestinian attackers, including suicide bombers. Palestinians call it a land grab because parts of it jut far into the >>>

Human Rights and Democracy for Iran

by AsteroidX on

Most people are supporting Human Rights for Iran.   Why does that bother you? What do you have to lose if we support our flesh and blood?

For one silly moment I thought you may feel some empathy with the suffering in your country, but obviously I was wrong. Please carry on with your posts. it is good for iranians to see what regime supporters think and support.

Israel?

Why do we have to be obsessed with Israel? I don't like or dislike it. I just don't give a rat's behind. My nation is Iran. Unfortunately some people on both sides seem bent on a fight. Why do Iranians have to worry about Israel? We have our own issues to deal with.

If you are worried about Palestinians  then go there and fight for them. Leave Iran alone. This is not Iran's fight do you get it?

iranmilitaryforum.net and "shah Gholam" are difinitely the same.  Sam interests, same obsession (Israel),  same garbage, same writing...the other two I'm not sure, but may be.  Anything is possible with these clowns.  As my mother used to say in Persian, "inha roodeyeh raast to badaneshoon nist". :-)

If you haven't figured it out yet, this "iranmilitaryforum" clown is our good friend "Shah Gholam", who has returned under a different username after being blocked.

You are posting about ten times a day in the news section here.

We as Iranians do not all think the same (thank god). Those who know the reason why Israel has to be in focus realize the connection. For you and those who don't, well, you can also have your opinion.

There is no need to try to silence people because they may have a different opinion than you do. Ironically, isn't this part of the reason for your posts "lack of freedom of expression in Iran"?

Israel?

But what has this got to do with Iran? Are you here just to make excuses for troubles in Iran and deflect to other countries? For just one second keep the foreign politics out of it. Do you have any concept of human rights?  We need your raw sense of love for Iran, please try to understand why Iranians want change and that the "media" argument of deflection does your own flesh and blood no good.
