Mousavi says has no “hope” in Guardian Council: Hundreds of thousands of people took part in a protest march on Monday afternoon in Tehran in spite of the Interior Ministry’s refusal to grant a permit for the demonstration to go ahead. Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi, Mohammad Khatami, Gholamhossein Karbaschi and a number of other political activists and supporters of the two defeated candidates were among those who took part in the march.
