The young folks interviewed appear to be a mix of Israelis and American visitors. Whether their views are representative is a matter for the pollsters.

I'm with you. This has gone on long enough. There needs to be a resolution, and it needs to be done now.

Everyone has suffered. These yo-yos in the video don't represent the real mindset in Israel. They're not even Israeli! They're American kids on vacation!

I do realize that the editorials run the entire spectrum. My point is though, just because Mr. Omaba is trying to reach out to 1.5 BILLION Muslim should not threaten existence of Israel for out bursts like these.

There is saying, blood runs thicker than water. Israel by all account is US's offspring-child-[so to speak]. Why should they feel like this. With all honestly, every nation in that vast area of ME, including the entire world deserves generations of peace and tranquility.

Israel, If I was a leader there, should by all her means support such initiative and help the president to achieve this monumental goal. I know that you are not a Democrat, nor you have any support for Mr. Obama. However, I think the entire world can find strong commonality in his approach for a lasting peace.

Why should Israel support president? simple, hasn't she sacrificed enough young bloods? Haven't Muslims suffered enough, haven't Palestinians suffered enough?

How many more mourning mothers and fathers should we create? How many more orphans, and widows must we create before we realize that enough is enough?

You tell dadash !

everyone is a bigot

by Anonymous9 (not verified) on

using the word "bigot" very loose, people are bigoted about things they don't know. christians are bigted against muslims. muslims are bigoted against christians. muslims are bigoted against jews. A video from drunk students is bad enough but to try and make it to being shared with "alot" of israelis is ridiculous.
and if you want to call israels racist and bigoted for calling the "n" word, then what do you say about muslims in iran wanting "death to americas". or muslims in america hating americans? i guess the secret service can put all those who hate americans in jail? yes, according to you?

You see bigotry against Moslems because A) people are ignorant and B) criminals attacked the US using the Moslem religion as their pretext.

Whether you like it or not, it is Arabs who are looking to cause harm to others. The reasons aren't important. All anyone will see is that the "Arab way" is to maim and kill.

As to Iranians, again, there's the ignorance factor. But just as  Americans can't stop bringing up 1979, 52 hostages, 444 days, and so on, Iranians can't avoid mentioning 1953.

Good. what you say is true. but people don't make this point when it comes to Arabs and Iranians, why?

why is it we see the Muslim bigotry on TV all the time, but never these images?

think about it.

I know the proverb. It applies in all cultures. They say alcohol is the best truth serum.

But these kids wouldn't know the truth, drunk or sober, if it came up and bit them in the ass.

The editorials you posted seem to run the entire spectrum, from positive to negative and in between. A far cry from the rants of a bunch of piss-drunk spoiled brats from Jersey.

Funny that you say [drunk kids]. There is this proverb in Parsi that says[Masti va Rasti] meaning you hear the truth from a drunk person.

This is not an isolated instance. Take a look at the reaction from Israel News Papers regarding the speech. News thread is hot off the press:

If you think

by Kaveh Nouraee on

you're going to get legitimate answers by a bunch of drunk kids, who judging by the accents are mostly American college kids from New Jersey and New York on vacation, with a couple of Israelis mixed in, I have a bridge in Brooklyn that I'm selling that I think you will love.

And if you don't like the bridge, maybe you can help me move about $40 million dollars out of a bank account in Nigeria that just so happens to have your name listed as beneficiary.

peace loving Israeli's

by capt_ayhab on

How dare Mr. Obama reach out to Muslims? Doesn't he know that Jews are the chosen ones and they and only they deserve to live?

These are just proofs how racist and bigot Israeli's are. Calling him the N word and threatening to kill him. I wish those people were in USA so the secret service could put their miserable @ss in jail till they rot.

So sad man so sad, how they claim to be peace loving.

Israel's future looks not so bright

by IRANdokht on

She's a political science major in Israel and she doesn't know who NetanYabu is?

bunch of drunk kids, yes they're dangerous but mostly to themselves.

here's another link to more background on this video //gawker.com/5279556/some-young-jews-are-not-...

It explains how most of these kids are American jewish kids that are sent to Israel for education and to get more acquainted with their roots and religion.

It also speaks of how this is not just the young students opinion but one shared with a lot of Israelis.

Americans should see this article.
