Kurdish leaders in Iraq face tough decisions with respect to the central government in Baghdad and powerful neighbors Iran and Turkey. The Kurds are confronted with a formidable regional alliance that threatens to dislodge the ethnic group's considerable gains made since the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003.

by Abarmard on Wed May 06, 2009 12:04 PM PDTThat there are more programs about the Kurdish culture, language and their province shown in the Iranian TV.
It's not a taboo any more?
by Shadooneh (not verified) on Tue May 05, 2009 11:39 AM PDTGreat! I'm thankful to Mr. Afrasiabi for mentioning the fact that Iran can be run as a federal system some day.
Afrasiabi says, "Should neighboring Iraq's experimentation with federalism prove productive - and this will be a matter of more than just a few years - it is likely that Iraq's example will influence Iran"
I sure look froward to the day the Federal Iran comes into existance.
