Iran and some Arab countries locked horns
on Tuesday, after Saudi Arabia demanded that Iranian authorities remove
the term “Persian Gulf” from game medals and brochures ahead of the
Islamic Solidarity Games.

Let the games begin, not

Instead of cancelling the games, Iran should have gone on. The Eslamic world is much bigger than a few million Arabs. There  are millions of non-Arab Moslems who are fine with Iran. Even so, Iran has many friends. Iran should accept the fact that a few Bedouin tribal chiefs who call themselves the "royal families" of the Persian Gulf so-called states are just not into Iran, period.
