Former German chancellor to discuss Iran nuclear issue in Tehran

Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will arrive in Tehran in February to discuss Iran's controversial nuclear program, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported on Sunday. Schroeder's trip was approved by the German Foreign Ministry and also follows consultations with the new U.S. administration led by Barack Obama, IRNA said, referring to German mass media. At the same time, IRNA did not give the exact date of the visit.
