TEHRAN, Iran – Two renowned Iranian AIDS physicians were convicted for allegedly taking part in a U.S.-backed plot to topple Iran's Islamic system, mystifying human rights activists who said the two were apolitical and doing innovative work on stemming the spread of the HIV virus.

I repsoned to your question asking what happened to people's value and those who are deaf and blind in regards to the actions of a criminal entity which imprisons medical doctors for their work?
Money is a strong motive to make people go blind and deaf and mullahs got lots of it to spare.

by Kaveh Nouraee on Wed Jan 21, 2009 12:32 PM PSTThe point concerning values has to do with the fact that these are physicians that are being detained.
Given the IRI's warped sense of morality, I'm guessing the fact that they are specialists in the field of HIV/AIDS, with the connotations that come with it concerning IV drug addiction and sexuality may have something to do with this.
For anyone who comes up with any kind of significant advancement or breakthrough, money will never be an issue for the rest of their lives or the lives of their children.

You know universities and colleges do not pay much and living expenses are astronomical in the West.

by Kaveh Nouraee on Wed Jan 21, 2009 10:56 AM PSTIsn't it clear by now even to the blind and deaf that this criminal entity in Tehran needs to go?
What the hell happened to people's values?
