The story of the slaves in America begins with Christopher Columbus. His voyage to America was not financed by Queen Isabella, but by Luis de Santangelo, who advanced the sum of 17,000 ducats (about 5,000 pounds-today equal to 50,000 pounds) to finance the voyage, which began on August 3, 1492.

Columbus was accompanied by five 'maranos' (Jews who had foresworn their religion and supposedly became Catholics), Luis de Torres, interpreter, Marco, the surgeon, Bemal, the physician, Alonzo de la Calle and Gabriel Sanchez (1).

These articles aren't so much anti-American as they are anti-human!

Unfortunately, the issue of race wa raised, because unlike  the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world, there's a guy who didn't use race as an excuse for failure. The great thing is that he's the exception to the rule. The flip side is that as the exception, he proved the rule.

Its so pathetic that these Iran and U.S haters, just couple of weeks after the election of an African American to the presidency, which is celebrtaed by the world, post anti American articles about "slavery" and post it under "News" section nonetheless!!!!

That is just pure sad. I feel sorry for these guys. This irrational hate is absolutely destroying them.

It was 1619 and there were 19 or 20 of them, brought to Jamestown, Virginia. 

Man, I'm having flashbacks of my high school history class. Mr. Jack Stout, my history teacher, may he rest in peace. He used to bum cigarettes from me before class.

He had this fantastic collection of history films with Alistair Cooke narrating. In the second semester we focused on the Great Depresssion and Prohibition. He almost cried when he talked about how hard it was to score a bottle of gin back then. LOL

But, leave it to a collection of wack jobs who want to pin the blame for slavery on the Jews. They'll even say it was a plot by the Mossad, 300 plus years before Israel even existed.

Man oh man oh Manischewitz these people don't give up.

It was Africans who sold their own countrymen into slavery.

Black Africans were sold to white Europeans by other black Africans.
