Judiciary chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi said on Sunday that the Judiciary honors freedom of expression and that any case of banning a website needs a verdict from the court of justice, IRNA reported from Tehran.
Shahroudi said that imposing ban on the website falls within jurisdiction of the court of justice and that the executive body is not authorized to ban their activities.

Shining Head, I don’t
by Farhad Kashani on Fri Sep 05, 2008 03:09 PM PDTShining Head, I don’t make up facts my dear friend. Not my “thing”.
Re: Shining Head, that article

You say:
"Furthermore, and most important, you have to use your own “logic” and “common sense” to figure out these matters not just citing sources. "
We say:
So that is what is hapeening Farshad; like the neocons (may be you are one), you make up your own facts! Good for you. But watch -- They are hated by the world.
And you?
Shining Head, that article
by Farhad Kashani on Thu Sep 04, 2008 07:26 PM PDTShining Head, that article cites tons of organizations, newspapers, NGOs…you name it. So its not me saying, it’s the whole world.
Furthermore, and most important, you have to use your own “logic” and “common sense” to figure out these matters not just citing sources. So you need to listen to ALL sides of the argument, whether they are FOX News, Keyhan of Tehran or Moveon.org and make your own conclusion. But obviously if someone is brainwashed like yourself and unwilling/unable to see reality, then, he/she is unable to do that. So I guess that makes you helpless.

I assumed you noticed that we have already established you are not a "credible" individual.
As we say in Farsi, " b' roobah goftand shahedat koo, b' domash eshareh kard" . Translation: They asked the fox, who is your witness, referred to his tail!
Any other thoughts?
thanks.

by Farhad Kashani on Wed Sep 03, 2008 11:19 PM PDTShining Head, refer to my article "Rising Expectations". We have all read about democracy indexes. There are hundreds of them out there. And thats only one way to do it.
FK: Please provide references ....
by Shining Head on Wed Sep 03, 2008 12:15 PM PDTFarshid,
You make strong (and in my opinion baseless) statements with regards to what you say in practically all of your posts. Perhaps this has to do with your zio-nazi background -- you think you have the right to say what you wish without factual bases!. Please provide supporting references (other than you own web page !) that says 98% of the world countries have those rights that you have stated.
thanks.
Shining head, no country
by Farhad Kashani on Wed Sep 03, 2008 11:46 AM PDTShining head, no country has un-limited freedoms, cause that means anarchy, you IRI supporting leftist bully! However, I can name you close to 98% of world countries today whom at least have the very minimum and basic freedoms guaranteed, and guess what, Iran is not part of them.

Show me one country that enforces and practices "freedom of speech" to no limit, and I will show you why courts are necessary in that process! Please refrain from name calling. We know you are a zio-nazi supporter, and we feel sorry for you!
I guess these IRI supporters
by Farhad Kashani on Tue Sep 02, 2008 03:32 PM PDTI guess these IRI supporters have a new definition of "freedom of speech". I guess closing down newspapers, websites, blogs, magazines,,,and having one of the worst record of freedom in speech in the world is a sign of ...IRI blessed and defined "freedom of speech"!!!!
