Iran swimmer ranks 15th worldwide

Iranian swimmer Mohammad Alirezaei has moved up 11 places to reach the 15th position in the recently released FINA rankings.

The 22-year-old Iranian reached the position for the first time after clocking a time of 27.95 seconds in the 50-meter breaststroke event, breaking the national record by 0.36 seconds on Friday.

Earlier, Alirezaei was in 26th place in the FINA world swimming rankings with 28.31 seconds.
