many israelis do not want a war with iran, or with palestinians. believe me america will not go to war for israel, and if they do, it will be for their own interests in the us. many of the people commenting on this thread are making scrambled eggs between people in israel, the government, jews etc. especially disturbing is the ashkenazi comment. but it is coming with such rage and bigotry, that should probably be directed at some other object (iri?). it almost sounds as if you would be 'disappointed' if things get resolved without dragging israel into it. human beings in israel, in the occupied territories, in iran, all have a lot more to lose and risk by war than people in california or wherever. one thing for certain, such inflammatory rhetoric will not promote a peaceful solution.

A lot of Americans are fed up with this relationship. They see that the priorities of their governors are out of whack. Besides AIPAC, there are other organizations that will attack people who oppose this ridiculous relationship. They love to use the phrase anti-semite (even if the said person is Jewish lol.... or self-loathing Jew). They will attack politicians like Ron Paul. Too bad!

Ron Paul won the conservative straw poll. I hope he will run against Obama who doesn't have the guts to state the obvious, especially when a chubby monster like Netanyahu is to be dealt with.

It's a sad truth. When the Americans can buy their cheap plastics and metals from China, they are pleased as peaches. When Wall Street gambles their retirement and college funds, they start to get angry. When they see that the Israeli real estate market is booming thanks to welfare checks from them - money they have been paying into for years - they will get angry.

Americans no longer look at this "I love Israel more than he does" statement as a positive qualification. They look down on it. Americans are losing America. Israel will do anything to keep it that way. A nation of 7 million with a small corrupt and sick government is destroying the US economy with war and conflict. NO THANK YOU! NO MORE!

I don't really "care" about Palestinians. I am an Iranian - American. I care about what Israel does because as a US Tax Payer, I am subsidizing their actions. I care because there are schools in the USA who can't afford computers and desks or teacher salaries. 

I care because if they use phosphorous bombs on Palestinians, they will do it to Iranians and with glee. I don't think any nations should be involved in the affairs of another.

That goes for the USA, Israel, Palestine, etc.... But when you have a "state' like Israel who fights dirty and has a nasty advantage (overworked, indebt tax payer), I'm more than happy to criticize, not because I love Palestine, but because it's just wrong.

No matter how shitty the IRI is, Iran is a sovereign nation. Nations cannot invade and attach one another, especially when it is so fucking hypocritical. Israel ignores the UN yet it wants the UN to punish Iran. Screw Israel. I hate the IRI, but Israel if it is civilized (HA) nation, would not attack because Iran doesn't give it what it wants.
