Every single way that you are characterizing Obama voters - WE - is wrong. You're not voting for him, so the title should be "Is this what YOU are voting for." Sorry to interrupt your Limbaugh/Hannity project. You've obviously learned from their daily doses of douchenozzery which involves mischaracterizing and exaggerating (e.g. sex and drugs is all democrats do. Don't forget Rush's famous drug addiction, or Cindy's. Rush even went on a sex tour in Dominican Republic before, he was caught with Viagra that wasn't prescribed in his name) The 60's are OVER. Faramarz is dead right that these repeated debates only cripple the country. For example, instead of worrying about supporting Saddam when he invaded Iran, we should have been investing in renewable energy (which Reagan strangely cut funding for over and over while his conservative buddies in the oil fields and auto industry were making lots of cash). Gee Oh Pee. Obama has so much work to do. So much GOP screw ups.

Unless you go by Dr.Palin's law dictionary. I'm only obsessed with sex and drugs as far as stereotypes are concerned. Not because I'm sexed up or drugged out. I never assumed it, but McCain and Palin and that entire party overlooks the contributions of people who aren't mass producing in the business world (Her recent classy jab at the fruit fly research comes to mind). Of course all professors aren't liberal. But it's hard to be conservative when you read books and learn history. Just sayin' Most conservative book lists don't go farther than the Bible or Ann Coulter. Palin loves to ban books, for example. It's not unlike the IRI - the less information people have access to, the more likely they are to question or expect change. It's smart, especially when you package it in the form of a sexy leggy woman.

P.S. rule numero uno of hippies = we don't hate our enemies. Our Lord Obama has actually set a good example of that. "Don't boo" just vote.

in the past 8 years we (people who do not agree with GWB's policies) were told that if we don't like it in US we're free to leave... and we were only against the administrations policies, not the laws of the country.

All of a sudden, USA has become USSA and its constitution is meant "to enslave the human race"! All that because there is a serious possibility for a liberal black man to become the next president?

Should we now return the favor and ask people who dislike this country's constitution to go back where they came from? Well, at least that's a better reason to leave than just disagreeing with policies, isn't it?

There is a man in Berkley who is very close to perfectly mapping the human genome. No one knows him. But everyone knows Joe the Plumber non Plumber. Happy shalloween. I mention him because Republicans LOVE to say that they produce produce produce while democrats just smoke and have sex (especially oral sex if you read some of the sociological studies focusing on red/blue sex following Lewinsky scandal). Anyway, academia, very liberal, produces MUCH. It's not ideal for capitalism, but it sure does support and improve the system. I can't stand that argument because without those tofu smelly professors, where would we be? reinventing the wheel!

P.S. You need to go look up the definition of NEGATIVE liberty before taking aim at Professor Obama about that public radio interview. Don't believe everything Limbaugh and Hannity tell you Bijan. Your stuff is straight out of their playbooks.
