The Train to Auschwitz

Photo essay: Largest Nazi death camp near Krakow, Poland

by Jahanshah Javid
08-Sep-2010

Auschwitz was a network of concentration and extermination camps built and operated in Polish areas annexed by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. It was the largest of the German concentration camps, consisting of Auschwitz I (the Stammlager or base camp); Auschwitz II-Birkenau (the Vernichtungslager or extermination camp); Auschwitz III-Monowitz, also known as Buna-Monowitz (a labor camp); and 45 satellite camps >>> Wikipedia

Give it up. I am so sick of hearing about Palestine I am about to throw up. They took sides with Saddam. The Pals are experts in biting the hand that feeds them. They are also totally incompetent.

You wrote, God forgive us, let this never happen again.

God will not forgive you, because you have let it happen again and again by Israel and US.

You cannot sweet talk your way out of it like the other commentators. At least, not with God.

Well it will happen. Maybe not to Jews but to some other unfortunate souls. As long as we have human charismatic leaders and morons who follow them. There will always be jerks. And there will always be sheep. The jerk will lead;  sheep follow.

On day the leader is Adolf; the other day someone else. But the message is the same. Hate and murder. I see if being promoted all over the world right now.

Though the subject is beyond horrific, Jahanshah, thank you for taking me along on this tour. Your documentation is excellent, you insight is deep.

Oh, let this never happen again. Let us transcend our petty differences and show the children of the world how things are forever different.

God forgive us, let this never happen again.

there has been no comment box available for a while. i wanted to say what an interesting photoessay and what discussions it evoked. i suggest you take 'third reich' with you next time you go on a tour.

if he's too lazy, he can look at testimonials by real individuals on a variety of websites.

his buddy AN, by the way, whose english isn't very good, could have a look at yad vashem in farsi

//www1.yadvashem.org/parsit_web/paras_home.html?WT.mc_id=parsit_web

since i don't (yet) read and understand properly, i can't vouch for the quality of the content on the link, but i thought it would be interesting to post.

the site, like the museum, is not only about the horror, but describes also life and culture before the war, resistance, art and culture in the ghettos and camps, and righteous people from all over who tried to save victims (i didn't find the examples of the iranian ambassador, and the other examples mentioned -- perhaps some of you want to submit these for documentation in their archives), and lessons to be learned from history and for the future.

Jahan jaan:

I took the ride with you; all the way through all some 183 snap shots.

I did NOT sob; there were no tears, only a big lump in my throat. After all I have seen it all a thousand times; I have written many a Poems about the hellish event.... and I have given a few lectures.... and I have cried my heart out for the fall of humanity.NOW I am only a dumb founded, numbed, and above all "a cynic!!!" No other specie has done so to one of its own.

Jahan, I solute you, not because of your artistic presentation; not because of your photo- journalistic talent, but because of your "EHSAAS." Thank you.

1) We can pick on the WWII thing until the cows come home. Alright it was mostly the Europeans. But the Japanese did a fine job of massacring Koreans and Chinese. Plus some other more sickening acts I rather not go into details.

2) The encounter I had was with the *USA* government not IRI :-) The officers had no idea who we were just looked at our appearances and figured we are "Caucasian".  Of course that is not exactly a "Gold Standard" for telling a person's background. But the fact remains. Iranians are mostly "white" i.e. Aryan with a good deal of Arab; Mongol; Indian and others mixed in. Nothing wrong with any of it. We can debate what a race means. I normally do not worry about it. Just that you brought it up and I responded.

3) My face is covered because I am too luminous for normal people to behold :-) It will give the ladies heart attack. That is a responsibility I would never be able to live with!! Besides I have one ex wife and don't need to be chased by other ladies; no thanks.

The Third Reich giving out facts? Whatever. Enjoy your free speech :)

I've met a few Iranian Hitler-lovers. One of them was hardcore. He proudly spoke about his Nazi memorabilia. I listened to what he had to say. I was curious about his thought process. And it all came down to this Aryan superiority stuff and really believing that Iranians are the ultimate Homo sapiens. The lengths some go to compensate for their inferiority complex. third reich - fact remains that holocaust/genocide happened

by MM on

  (//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:World_War_II_Casualties.svg)

You may argue on what percent of Zyklon B was used for extermination of Jews, but the fact remains that:

"6 million Jews, along with 130,000 to 500,000 gypsies, 150,000 to 200,000 handicapped, 2.6 to 3 million Soviet prisoners of war, 1.8 to 1.9 million Poles, 4.5 to 8.2 million Soviet citizens, about 10,000  Gays, about 1,000 JWs, between 1,000 to 2,000 Roman Catholic clergy and some Freemason were systematically eliminated from 1933 to 1945 in Nazi Germany and in German-occupied territories in punishments ranging from isolation to persecution, sterilization, medical experimentation, incarceration, brutality, and murder".

These people were systematically eliminated, in state sponsored killing fields, because of the people's ethnicity/religion/handicap and therefore defined as holocaust/genocide.

Third Reich

Objective Facts Do NOT Support the Story

by Third Reich on

Two separate studies, one performed by the Auschwitz Museum officials themselves, have shown no appreciable mount of Zyklon B gas (the gas allegedly used to kill Jews) in the so-called gas chamber as Auschwitz.  On the other hand, Zyklon B traces were found in abundant amounts in the delousing and disinfection centers at Auschwitz which used the chemical for disinfecting and sanitizing bedsheets, mattresses, clothing, etc. (which in and of itself is strange because it shows that the Nazis went to great lengths to maintain the health of the inmates who they were intent on killing).

The official explanation for the lack of Zyklon B residue is that the gas chambers were only used for only 20-30 minutes a day (hard to believe--I know) the rate at which it is impossible to gas millions of people.  That explanation is also at odds with "witness testimony" who said that the gas chambers were running nonstop, day and night.

 //www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQkD7AqLl5c&feature=related

 //www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJIwm24kZEk&feature=related

This is based on research by David Cole, a Jewish revisionist.  The links above are to parts 4 & 5 of his documentary.  Please make sure to watch all seven parts.

The cannisters of gas that you have in your essay are that of Zyklon B, 95% of which, according to the Holocaust Museum officials themselves, was used for disinfection and delousing.

The 6 million, or the 4 million people is a manufactured figure by the Soviet propaganda machine and has ever since been used by the Jews to bamboozle the world to further their objectives.  There is simply no objective evidence that can prove the Holocaust story as it is told today, which makes it more puzzling when the alleged perpetrators of this "crime" were Germans, who are notoriously meticulous with record keeping.

You did say,"WWII had as much to do with Japanese and other non "white" than anything."

But nevermind it.

Your second comment me too, I do not know what you are going on about.

Your third comment is the most interesting one. You said,"I had a little encounter with the government 20 year ago. Without asking me they classified me and my friends as "Caucasians". " . Are you NOW telling me what IRR people say is right???? Come on give me a break. I know now why your face is covered in your avatar. haha

First: I grant you that WWII was mostly the fault of Europeans. But I was talking about killings and wars in general. Here is a list of some large killings that had nothing to do with "white" men. Some in recent history and some in long past:

  • The "Killing Fields" in Cambodia
  • Mongols massacre of Iranians (and Arabs; and anyone else they could find).
  • The"Cultural Revolution" in China.
  • The genocide in Rwanda.

It is just a small sample of how *people* do bad things not just *white men*.

Second:I am not sure what your point is here. Yes a lot of Islamists refer negatively to the West and US. This although the US has plenty of Muslims living freely in it. Much more free than non Muslims are in "Islamic" countries. In fact Muslims in USA are more free than Sunni Muslims in Iran. That should embarrass IRI.

Third: You can say whatever you want about Iranians being white or not. But a large portion of Iranians *are* white. Just take a look at their pictures. I had a little encounter with the government 20 year ago. Without asking me they classified me and my friends as "Caucasians". That means white. Running away from my race is stupid. I am white and there is nothing to do about it. Nor do I want tofight my genetic makeup. It is a tragedy to be ashamed of one's race; I will not be ashamed of mine.

Let me explain, but before you say you will not change your standing, please go and check the facts and do some research.

I have seen a lot of documentaries regarding this event and can tell you with confident that WWII initially started in europe, i.e. whiteman's land, and not in far east.

Secondly what is with some bloggers on this site the moment face a different point of view blame others being islamist. For your information, a lot of islamist refer to west and US, not whites.

Thirdly, please please go and do some research as Iranians are not white. This explains my point with you. How on earth can you come to this conclusion. My friend avoid saying it anywhere else if you can.

Finally, I never said all should dump their heritage. In fact it is our Persian heritage which makes us so different from others such as whites.

Heartless

by Jahanshah Javid on

Those who forget the victims and show no sorrow or even a little sympathy are just as pathetic as those who take advantage of the Holocaust.

Zionists have their reasons. What's yours?

Why can't YOU, who consider yourselves good and moral, see the victims? What did they do to you? They are ashes in the fields and streams. They were ordinary people who happened to be Jews, Gypsies, invalids, resistance fighters, Nazi critics.

Condemn Zionists all you want. But those who can't feel or express any sorrow for the millions of innocent souls who perished so dreadfully... well, if I were you I would rush to the doctor. You don't have a heartbeat.

Bijan Douli

The answer is to control & own: 1. OIL, 2. Natural resources

by Bijan Douli on

of other countries. That is why both Germany and Japan which are very poor in both went to war. And it was for them not being able to obtain the oil fields of Sumatra (in case of Japan), and Baku and more (in case of Germany both in WW' & WWll) that they lost the war.

They had all their planes and tanks basically parked because of the gasoline shortage. KAMIKAZI was the result of fuel shortage! Then allies were able to defeat them. In fact, Japan asked its citizens to dig out the roots of pine to extract some kind alcohol to replace the petro in order to continue the war. That's when US realized it cannot just win the war unless she sacrifises million soldiers. Then the decision for bombing hiroshima and nagasaki came in august 11 1945.

Now you see without the oil, US - Britain, and Israel are nothing. No matter what kind of airplanes they have. No fuel, no mechanized power to win a war. So next time you hear US saying "our national security" they mean oil. Without oil we would go back to the dark ages in the 18'th and 19the century.

Well my friends, nothing has really changed. the super powers are back in the middle east for two things. oil and mineral, plus future security of israel and Iran is in their way messing up their plans. We should preserve our oil, if we want to be somebody in the future! Peace! obama

This is not about Palestinians, not about Rwandans, and even not about Jews. Bring up the Rwandan or Armenian genocide photo essay, we would say the same; we should say the same. Because it’s about the Humanity.

I despise those who confiscate this misery for pushing agendas in favour of a particular nation or ideology. This can be so dangerous. Again.

I am all with Onlyiran here and his message

by Bavafa on

Not only I don't see any thing wrong with discussing other atrocities around the world, I believe as a citizen of this world, it is our responsibility to do what ever we can to bring those to the front pages and people awareness, try to prevent them and condemn them. If we don't learn from history, will risk repeating it and we have certainly seen that it has been repeated far too many times. The atrocities and genocide that has taken place in Africa (Congo and Rwanda specifically) and the injustice and atrocities that has been inflicted on Palestinians are equally as important as the horrific event of holocaust and all of those who perished at the hands of Nazis.

If you feel my comments about jewish actions towards palestinians or the actions of Fanatical muslims to both iranians and jews are Antisemetic then you need to have your head checked.

A Spade is a Spade, even if it is now A Jewish state in the wrong.

I am not saying attack an entire people for what is being done.

I am saying lets find their political ideology and what they think gives them the right and castrate that worthless philosophy... not touch the hair of a single person, but destroy the idea... not the jewish people, but the radical idea that insists it must be only for jews and none for palestinians.

Why don't humans learn from past POLARIZATION?

by AlexInFlorida on

The Present Polarizaton is of course Palestine, where innocents are butchered by jews/the entire pure jewish state kills the freedom and livelyhood of palestinians with their national armed forces. These are both exaples of Racism...to be specific... a form of injustice so correct words would be

Racism is Racism

Why do my posts get Removed.

Irans Injustice is completely different.

It is the corruption of the people religious authorities and the inability of the good people from containing the lust for power, control and money of the clerical families and their followers.

Their victims are innocent Iranians, regardless of back ground, muslim, jew, monarchist, liberal.  Anything but their team.  They also want a civilization for their families only for the next 1000 years but not on racial or religious grounds, but on ideological grounds.

try being honest

by asadabad on

I will be honest and say that we must condemn and stop the extermination of Palestinians!  I agree with onlyIran.  What's the point of remembering the Holocaust if its lesson shouldnt be applied to the present?

Golinedairani, don't you see that you are spreading Antisemitism by ignoring/denying the extermination of the Palestinians?

Iranians saved many Jews during the Holocaust yet Iranians are not allowed to talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?

I don't respect people who play the "Holocaust card" or "Antisemitism card" in order to intimidate and browbeat critics of the Israeli extemination of Palestinians.  Like Onlyiran said, if you have a heart, then respect the Palestinians suffering.  Respect their humanity and do what you can to stop the injustice commited against them.
