Real dream

Photo essay: The Nutcracker ballet in Chihuahua

When my sister told me we were going to see Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker ballet one recent Sunday I was like, no, not again! I had seen it performed at least twice before in two different cities in the U.S. and I couldn't get my excitement up for a third time, this time in Chihuahua, Mexico. At the same time though, I was curious: the artistic director of the ballet was my sister's friend, Paola Murga de Zavala (in black), who brings The Nutcracker to the city's main stage - Teatro de los Héroes -- every year. I had to see it. And I'm so glad I did. It was a beautiful, elegant, dreamy production. Afterwards we had dinner with Paola and her dancers. What a kind, lovely and talented bunch. I'm staying in Mexico folks :o) For now at least. (Today I was searching online for rooms for rent in Granada, Spain. Very affordable!)

i don't care how many times you've seen it, it's just as magical the next time.

off the track but i saw it in ice skating with oksana baiul and victor petrenko, i think early 90's. i think brian boitano was in it too. it was incredible. i mean INCREDIBLE.

any russian-iranians here that remember petrenko?

Hi Fresh Traveller. I only typed "rooms for rent granada spain" in google search and looked at several different sites that came up on the first page. Hope you have a great time!

Hi JJ, thanks for the pictures. I's love to go to Granda and other cities in Spain. Could you tell me what site is best to go for such rooms that you were referring to? I probably end up buying a Fudor, but any information will help.
Thanks

to you, my

your tender

an intention, and
the sound of a

my heart....

Monda

have you picked up some Spanish yet?

before moving to Spain, I'd ask Robert for a few sentences a day. Just in case you'd ever be away from your laptop :o)
