I just read the news about Taraneh Mousavi who was arrested and disappeared on june 19th. Then she was raped for weeks until her burned body was found.

Some of these ugly thugs looking like Ahmadinejad have done it to her. This is horrible. What this girl had to go through before she's dead ...BTW, she was gorgeous, stunningly gorgeous. It seems that these ugly thugs prefer pretty girls...

Gere. When he was younger I thought he was so revolting and UNsexy..so shallow-looking and vapid...but he aged like fine wine and he became..stunning...

Funny Face, thanks sooo much. This thing's reeeeeeeeally funn (even funnier than your face lol ). And you're spot on. It makes for better satire to give the misleading title. It introduces that little jolt of surprise. IT'S FUNNY.

What's REALLY so funny about it is that the way it's narrated so simply makes him sound so childish. Which is what he is. Yet makes him sound so harmless. Which is what he's not...kheili paradoxical.

Eroonman's concerns though bring up an important related  issue. The issue is that you have to try not to exaggerate or distort your assessments of the enemy. Because a) you lose credibility; and b) you start to become what they are. Propagandists.

As a former member of Sepahe Pasdaran, Ahmadinejhad is known to have fired at least a thousand "kill shots" after each execution in order to make sure the executed prisoner was indeed dead! That's why he is also known as "Marde Hezar Tir" (the "thousand shot man")!

Don't mind Eroonman.  I think that he woke up on the wrong side of the bed.  Somehow, he thinks that one has to notify readers with a disclaimer that they are about to read a sarcastic piece.  That would in effect defeat the purpose of sarcasm, in a way.

At any rate, the writings were very innoccuous with no sharp language. In fact, the first four pics that he saw could've been in chronological order (first one being the title page), and probably factual (at least, Ahmadi, would've agreed with it).  here is the translation of the first 15 slides:

1. Biography of ahmadinejad
2. He was born in a poor family (every men in the picture is wearing a suit and a tie!).
3. From childhood he liked science and knowledge.
4. One could guess that he had strong religious beliefs.
5. An unknown man who openly expressed respect to the clergy of his time.
6. War started…he went to war with his friends…friends who survived, later became powerful. (you can see Mohsen Rezaie standing in the center of the picture)
7. [On] a simple day, as usual, he was sleep,
8. Someone called him and he woke up with a happy face,
9. He ate his breakfast,
10. Did his daily exercise.
11. And he put on his shoes so that he goes to his neighborhood mosque.
12. He was at the prayers when someone called him.
13. With his usual smile he asked: “who would be interested in a person like me?”
14. He said: “i will come right now.”  and quickly came out of the mosque and put on his shoes.
15. They said: “you’ve become important and you must go and introduce yourself to the people in radio and television.”

Well the problem is I can't read the Persian you see, so I have no idea even how far afield my question just below is from the text.

What I can say as an illiterate is that the photos chosen give a very real portrait of a very real human being with a very real human development and very real struggles within it.

So in a nutsell, what is so offensive about the written characterization please?

I never heard about the Pasdar thing

HHH wrote below and it sounds very suspect to me. The one in charge of firing the final shot..faaaar too dramatic to be reliable..

but someone else here said that AN had been the person responsible for post-interrogation at Evin Prison for a couple of years.

I DO NOT WANT THIS TO BE CONSTRUED AS FACT WHATSOEVER.

I would like it simply to be corroborated or refuted by knowledgeable people.

This is a farce with more than a tinge of opinion. Certainly not an objective look at  Ahmadinejad as the words "Biography" led me to believe.

While this is funny and amusing, it does nothing but enhance the already bitter bile forming in everyone;s mouth as a result of recent events.

If you insist on emphasizing the cynicism, at least label it as such. I was expecting a well thought out exploration on how he came to this point in our lives. This is just a poorly structured joke. The pictures are chornologically out fo order so I stopped after the first 4.
