Photo essay: Wife, mother and artist on Hormoz Island

by Ahmad Nadalian
I have worked with Kaniz for four years. We produce many collaborative art works. As we were working on the paintings, Kaniz told me many stories. Her life story is strange and interesting. -- Ahmad Nadalian, www.riverart.net

Let's hope they live in earthquake-proof houses and take the bus for their intercity travel instead of the airplanes!

Let's hope any goodwill left won't be squandered!

Dear Mr. Nadalian

I am a big fan of your art and your generous soul. Thank you for sharing with us Kaniz, her art work and your love for these people. I wish I could send a passport or something on a flying carpet to Kaniz's grandson. Life can be so unfair.

I hope one day soon we meet in person in one of your art classes.
