I was very SUPRISED that you didn't bother to go your home country, Iran during 34 long years! I can't imagine that one day Iran, my country goes out of my mind, soul and thought. Not sure which country do you live, but I HOPE you can speak Farsi and you have not forgotten it. I suggest you, that you try to go to Iran more often. Your image is alright, not excellent. I wish you were going to show us more images of Islamic Architecture in Isfahan Nesfe Jahan or other parts of beautiful Iran. Never mind, perhaps you are going to show the real beauty of Iran in your next trip. Mooafgh bashid. I

Super beautiful collection: the chandeliers, the mosaic patterns, and the classical murals, I wanted to send some of the photos to myself, but "send e-card" link is not working properly on my computer...

What I thought looking at these pictures

by jamh on

Why take everything that's beautiful, every dream of luxury, of sex, even decadence and replace them by tears? By abstract notions, or lies, about the afterlife. Why ask young men and women to sacrifice all of their life? Why replace the colors of life with black? Why forbid every pleasure a body is made for and make it shameful? Why not let dexterous hands make works of art? Why not let soulful persian music steal your mind and take it to wherever it wants to?
