I started out life as an abstract painter and the urge to make images—any kind of images—tugs at me daily. It is often hard to find the time or the vision to gratify this urge, but that's what makes it so sweet when it does come together. A couple of years ago I started photographing obsessively and this collection of images all started out as simple snap shots.
