My hometown still looks great. I suggest to post some of these pictures on Google Earth

Last time I saw the gate (Darvz Quran), you would drive under it to leave or enter Shiraz.

Thank you ever so much for sharing these nice photos!
I always wanted to go Shiraaz to see and think how our wonderful people with thier artistic abilities were able to accomplish these wonderful architectures back in 2500 years a go!
I wish we were able to see how they have been started to the last part of it.
It is very sad to see how the government in Iran are taking care of it :(

A magical force made me to choose shiraz university 30 yrs ago,and as soon as I set foot in that blessed city my soul and life has changed. I love shiraz, and long for it, all the time.The first time that I lay eyes on this city of love, my heart wanted to burst from this strange feeling of love ,joy and pain. Now 30 yrs later I know why? Shiraz has brought the utomst pain, love and joy in my life.I hope to be able to see it one more time.
Thank you sanaz, for showing me my beloved city.

Shiraz is the most beautiful city in Iran and may be in the world. I visited the city once after Nowrooz and it was just gorgeous.

The girl in these photos adds a lot of beauty to the pictures and her Persian face reminds me of the poems of Hafez where he mentions "Saghi..", "Delbar.." and etc. She looks good
