by Soroush (not verified) on Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:59 AM PDTDear Jahanshah,
I am humbled by your inclusion of my works in your magazine. The service and avenue of dialogue that you have provided the Iranian community is beyond measure.
I was following the deer along the banks of the American River, hoping to catch a closer image. He kept on halting and looking back at me and I knew that they are apt to attack if annoyed. He suddenly darted into the bushes and disappeared and I thought I had lost my opportunity. I suddenly became aware that I was now being observed. He had doubled back and was now in the bushes next to me, watching me intently. This gave me a chance for several close shots. The blue wash in the background is the American River.
The lighthouse is the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse just above Mendocino.
Thnk you for youe support.

You're a pro bro
by Jahanshah Javid on Tue Aug 26, 2008 10:03 AM PDTThe colors are so rich and vivid, the captured moments so serene and beautiful. Look at that lovely deer sticking his head out! And the soft colors in the seaside lighthouse (or church?)... great photography. Congrats on being accepted in the GCAG.
