Censorship and Freedom of Speech

by Anonymous6 (not verified) on

JJ and other admin,
Freedom of speech/expression is an absolute right in this society.

In your site you pretend to be an advocate of it by saying nothing is scared (what a joke!). Practically you are much worse than Mullahs. They don’t know anything better, you know and with your censorship with no real reason, downgrading yourself to the same level as mullahs!

This is my opinion that 'Ying Yang Paintings' in main page of Iranian.com is a trashy painting, and you don’t have any tolerance to hear it.

Go head again and delete my comment again as you did for past 12 hours.

Now is not the painting anymore it is your action and censorship that portrait you to the same low level as Mullahs

I DID suggest this many many times, along with couple other suggestions on outher subjects (i.e QUIZ), which were ((( DELETED ))) !

Looks like JJ is not interested in ANY new and different ideas ! Even if it makes kinda sense !

So, I think we should keep guessing where? who? when and how!

Shiva:

Nice photos of a nice city with good people. And it looks like you had a very good time. Thank you for sharing.

JJ:

It would give the photos a lot more depth and value if you asked contributors to provide some details about them (instead of your trying to guess those details and putting sporadic words on them! See here //www.flickr.com/photos/71939856@N00/21069820... what Baba Taher's Monument looks like, so you it won't get mixed with Abu Ali Sina's Monument).

It gets boring fast when we click on picture after picture and we aren't really learning anything new, just seeing one image after another, of a place and a monument that could be anything and anywhere, soon to be forgotten. Please develop and demand some standards from photo contributors. Thank you.

Even though a picture worth 1000 words, yet I wish contributer had added notes to her pictures such as locations, names, etc.

Great pictures .. keep them coming.

Thanks

Each section of Iran has its own unique history and beauty. Instead of trying to compare Mazandaran forests to Dashte Kaveer, we should appreciate each in their own context. These where beautiful. Thank you. I even like family pictures because they are happy moments in time. You can’t help thinking wish I was there.

Thanks again.

It has stayed the same

Two years ago (after 31 years), I went back.
Hamadan was one of the cities I visited. Its probably
bigger than it was but it has not exploded like Tehran
and Isfahan. BTW there is a paved road between Hamadan and Isfahan. There is a place in the mountains (I think north) has great kabobs.
