museofridakahlo.org: La Casa Azul [The Blue House] was the place where Frida Kahlo, the most renowned Latin American artist in the world, came into this world, lived, and took her last breath. The building, which dates to 1904, was not a large-scale construction. Today it has an 800 m2 building surrounded by property measuring 1200 m2. Diego and Frida filled it with color, folk art, and pre-Hispanic pieces to show their admiration for the peoples and cultures of Mexico >>>
NOTE: The museum does not allow visitors taking photos of the interior of the house or the art work, otherwise I would have shared lots of images of rarely-seen paintings and household items. You must go sometime. It's a modest collection, but the atmosphere is magical.

The blue house is amazing!

Such a different and extraordinary artist. All those colors, her paintings, her love, hate and pain stories. Well, this was a nice reminder of my memorable visit.

2002 till 2007 full-blown and then I had thought it had died down, but it started all over again last year.
If I could hate and despise one dead person with a rationalized phobia it would be Frida-phobia

and that embarrassing film
something along the lines of " why did you sleep with Trotsky?" and the deep and meaningful answer:
"Because we wanted to."

When I look at her paintings, I see myself over there!she has said that every day is a death in her arms.and I also am dying every day without realizing that I find to death in my arms.
I have good memories of Frida and her drawings, a hero of mine forever. I admire her.
