I was there with them too, for longer than 10 minutes and totally enjoyed the ride, .. strange how familiar they looked.  I think I'll go back to see and read them again. They were just lovely souls.

But where are they from? When? They look Turkish or Eastern Europian. They seem to have a great time, for about 10 mins, so did I!

Wow. That same Turkey/Iran border crossing looks pretty much as it did when I crossed it 35 years ago.

There was a war going on in eastern Turkey back then, too, but there weren't checkpoints like apparently there are now.

The photos of the Iranian girls are a plus. Food looks great, too.

I agree, the political commentary should be scrubbed. (It's in bad taste for guests.)

which one is karim? Who is the one with beard? I start beliveing in evolution. charlie a korean name? i wish they would give us a story about who they are and what if anything about Iran that they learned, except complaining about Iran after they left! Some of the photos very nice, especilly Alamut! Merci!
