Yes, the speaker is an Iranian-Jew.

His wife was detained in Iran - and generously released, and is back to joining think tanks on how to destabilize Iran.

If you want change in Iran's government, you live there and advocate for change.  You don't do it as part of a foreign think tank with an Israeli husband.

& US Responsibility for misrepresenting the late shah and supporting the mullahs.  Real US Policy & Actions are a subject entirely left unmentioned. This is a reflection of the extent to which the CIA and Mi6 and their secrecy serves to harm humanity and render democracys undemocratic in what they are really producing.  If the question is does repression work in general?  The obvious answer from living in repression in the west is yes of course.  In IRI's case is the repression excessive and working, the obvious answer is, yes, Iran has moved from a society with represion comparable to the usa in the 1970's to having the highest per capita execussion rate on the planet, repression today it is severe and machine guns works like a charm against a defenseless mass, this is the #1 reason the west loves the IRI for Iran for 33 years and has helped and will continue to help extremist IRI, because unlike the late shah, who massively reduced corruption and pursued peace, progress and human rights, US backed extremists increase corruption, violence, regression and crimes against the humanty of those living in Iran who the west is intentionally working to stiffle and dominate.

Folly

by Fred on

During the past 34 year rule of the Messianic Islamist Rapists, all has been tried and failed. That includes the nonsensical lets cut a deal, a la “Grand bargain” which the Islamist Rapist lobby pushed and clueless foundations like Wilson backed.

Mrs. Esfandiari, who is Mr. Bakhashe’s wife and works for Wilson, paid for that folly by a stint in the Islamist Rapists’ prison “suites”.

The only thing which will save the world from the Messianic Islamist Rapists getting nuke and blackmailing the civilized world and/or impose a war on all is regime change.

Backbreaking airtight sanctions plus air/naval quarantine is a must.
