Strait of hormoz can be closed for a couple of hours by IR but not for longer than 2 or 3 hours. After that it will be opened up by US forces and then IR can start burying their many deads!

Let the U.S. hemorrhage costs trying to police it

Iran and its leading oil buyers, China and India, are finding ways to skirt U.S. and European Union financial sanctions  by agreeing to trade oil for local currencies and goods including wheat, soybean meal and consumer products, and through physical transfers of foreign currency. India, the second-biggest importer of Iran’s oil, has set up a rupee account at a state-owned bank to settle as much as much as 45 percent of its bill, according to Indian officials. China, Iran’s largest oil customer, already settles some of its oil debts through barter by delivering high-demand goods. Iran also has sought to trade oil for wheat from Pakistan and  Russia. 

Meanwhile: The price of oil in the U.S. goes up; the dollar loses status as international currency; and other financial mechanisms are developed to replace the Jewish banking system.  

Hopefully Goldman Sachs will rip-off Americans one more time; Iran will lend the American people all the rope they need.

Because IRI is less and less able to receive CASH money for its oil. Instead, it has to trade oil for the garbage that China and India want to dump on Iran. It's a great deal for China and India and a terrible deal for Iran (just like the IRI's giving away Iran's Caspian Sea rights from 50% to a fraction of that). A country with the world's second largest natural gas reserves and third largest oil reserves has infant mortality and life expectancy that are ranked NOT even in the Top 100 among nations! In 1979, Iran had a bigger economy than either South Korea or Brazil -- now it's economy is much, much smaller than those countries. In the 1970s, Iran produced 6 million bpd of oil (and its population was less than half, so it was able to export a much larger portion). Now, its oil exports are less than half of that! Price of oil will keep going up - Israel is really sanctioning Americans.  When a seller loses a customer, he finds another.  When the product is scarce, the buyer that boycotts loses.

After 8 years, IRI lost to Saddam,one of the most inept military

commanders ever. And this in spite of the fact that Iraq has well under half of Iran's population, and its army and airforce mostly consisted of junky Russian MIGs and Russian tanks (and we saw what US weapons have down to Russian weapons when the US fought Saddam and when Israel fought the Arabs), whereas the IRI inherited the US fighter planes bought by the Shah's government.
