Egypt's new assembly elects Muslim Brotherhood speaker

Lawmakers' first meeting since Mubarak's downfall

BBC: Egypt's new parliament has elected a speaker from the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamist movement whose Freedom and Justice Party won recent elections. Mohammed Saad al-Katatni was chosen by a large majority of MPs at the inaugural session of the lower chamber, the People's Assembly. It was the first meeting of the assembly since the uprising last February that forced former President Hosni Mubarak from power. "This parliament bears a heavy burden, because it must achieve the people's ambitions," he told Nile News TV before the session began >>>

Why do you have such deep hatred of Iranian people? Just non stop generalizations which make no sense. "Iranians this or that or another". Who made you the grand authority on all Iranians?

I assume you are on yourself so we call it "Tofe sar bala". This is no different than those who do Sineh Zani; it is a form of self punishment.

Fine 33 years ago a large number of people made a stupid decision. But that's it.

So you think Egypt is better off to be in the hands of Islamic Brotherhood instead of the Egyptian Army!!!!?????

I think your assessment of what is going on in Egypt is waaay off - and very surprising to see an Iranian who must know about who and what is behind Islamists in middle east make such bad assessment.

It will never be like Iran-Egyptians and other Arabs are smarter

It doesn't mean that they will follow in Iran's footsetps just because they are Islamists. Iranians are moron revolutionaries, which is separate and distinct from being Islamists per se.  Just listen to an Iranian.  They're still talking about not only their great revolution, but also the Belshovik revolution and the Cuban revolution.  Iran's system a mixture of Islamism and wild eyed revolutionary hooliganism.  They're still talking about destroying the imperialists, the Zionists, the colonialists and a whole bunch of other "ists."  Iranians arse still stuck in early and mid 20th century bullshit.

Arabs have much more sense--and good for them.  Not even Hamas is as fundamentalists as the IR.  For one thing, they have no dress code for women in Gaza.  And the Egyptians realize that their survival will still partially depend on tourism dollars.  So, don't look for any embassy takeovers, wild execution orgies or ideological battles to eradicate one nation or another.
