why so anrgy with me I am not milking Iran. What I am saying and have said is that reliance on oil is bad. If anyone with average intelligence knows it then how come our great PM did not know it.

For years since oil was discovered Iranian leaders have been fixated on it. How was Khomeini going to give people all the free stuff? I guess it was to be the oil money. If people stopped thinking in those terms it is better for us all. Do you disagree.

Mr know-it-all, I know what they are after, anyone with an average intelligent like you and me know that. During this process of bringing IRI down they will milk the nation. Since you know it all, I only need to remind you it is during these dark economical times that they sign the best oil deals for themselves.

I have been saying Iran needs to stop relying on oil for years. But people get mad at me. I said the biggest mistake Mossadegh made was to made such a big deal of oil. Thinking we got all this money coming.

People think oil is "erse babamoon". Yes it is a big pile of money but it is just like welfare. Makes one lazy and not self reliant. It is good for Iran all its worst enemies particularly Saudi are addicted to it. 

The idea

is not to milk Iranian people because they do not have money. The point is to anger the lower class so much they revolt against the government. That will make possible the overthrow of the Islamic Republic.

think after all these price rises, things ever go back to normal?

Will foreign currencies get cheaper?

I do not think so. The whole idea is to milk the nation.

It is a strange world....

We find ourselves where IRI spokesman seem to care about Europeans by saying their policy works against them by increasing the oil prices.   If that is truly the only outcome of such policy, shouldn’t IRI just be jubilant about it?

When will Iran work towards self-sufficiency and not depending on OIL?

  Sadly this culture of dependencies and reliance on oil in government can be seen in the Iranian families/kids with their near total reliance on their parents even when they are full grown and in adulthood.

In it they are stating that "they have thought this through" and the omat hamishe dar sahneh should not be worried about it!  

They are afraid they'll wake up in the morning and face an angry mob going after them by the millions.  They know once people pour to the streets out of desparation there isn't much they can do.  This won't be another "election" riot, it'd be financial and out of desparation.  Far worse.

Indeed if there is nothing to worry about why announce it?  Just carry on.  But they can't because the Rial is in a freefall.  Inflation is up and things are worst than they have ever been.
