Wikipedia: Mir-Hossein Mousavi Khameneh (born 2 March 1942) is an Iranian reformist politician, artist and architect who served as the seventy-ninth and last Prime Minister of Iran from 1981 to 1989. He was a Reformist candidate for the 2009 presidential election and eventually the leader of the opposition in the post-election unrest. Mousavi served as the president of the Iranian Academy of Arts until 2009, when Conservative authorities removed him...
In 2009 Iranian Presidential election, Mousavi came out of semi-retirement and ran as one of two Reformist candidates against the Administration of incumbent President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. However he failed to win the election, and following alleged vote rigging and manipulation, his campaign sparked a long protest that eventually turned into a national movement against the Government and Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei >>>
Mir Hossein Mousavi and his wife, Zahra Rahnavard, remain under house arrest in Tehran.

by MOOSIRvaPIAZ on Tue Feb 07, 2012 08:10 AM PSTLoser of the day are people like you and I who practise armchair activism on Iranian.com on a daily basis. Sure it may feel good to come out and lash out online against these people but it's pointless.
Dont like his politics or ideology but he is not a loser in my book.

by Bavafa on Tue Feb 07, 2012 07:38 AM PSTPolitical freedom is part of a basic rights and should not be only for our friends but also for our foes. While I am not a Mousavie follower, I advocate and support his immediate and unconditional freedom.
We can be free only if all of our citizens are free to express and exercise their political/religious rights.

They know that it will be a fatal error if the internal conflicts for power grab go beyond the point of no return, so just before everything falls apart the alliance of reesh-o pashm pulls together to save the rev...rev, revolution. They always have.

Loser of the day!
by Simorgh5555 on Tue Feb 07, 2012 07:20 AM PSTHis reform was doomed to fail to begin with. He fooled people to believe that he and his band of rag tag charlatans can actually change the politicial status quo given the executive, judiciary and the supreme leader will never allow it to happen. He hped to bring the evil regime to power and served as Prime Minister when thousands of Iranians were killed including the prison purges of 1988 which he denies all knowledge of. The charlatan Mousavi is paying the price for his crimes and long after Iran is liberated he will properly be held to account and punished.
