Former CIA Agent Pushes War With Iran

Just how ridiculous the suggestion of al Qeda-IRI cooperation is

Former CIA officer Bruce Riedel wrote about an "official british report" which pushed for war with Iran. Cenk Uygur breaks down just how ridiculous this report is and how similar this is to the lead up to the war with Iraq.

To answer your question, I've always felt killing something to "death" is much more effective than killing it to "life"!  But that's just me.

The IRR Pahlevoon Panbeh will "kill" all Western invaders to "death!"

War is not in American plans

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Iran is not going to be attacked militarily. The idea is to weaken IRI by sanctions and let it fall apart. If we are smart we should plan for what happens next.

If only IR's military were full of tough guys like Abarmard, Iran would beat the living daylights out of US, NATO and Israel combined.

Iranians can't even fight their own stupid regime, but they'll manage to fight a great war against the western sheytan regimes. In 09 when Iranians tried to protest the farcical election results after a few days the regime sent in their thugs with batons and guns and that was it the Iranians were slapped back down but if Israel and America bomb the shit out of them all of a sudden they'll fight a hard war against "any stupid enemy moves". You're right this is reality so there's no place for romanticism just pray Iran isn't attacked becuase no matter how strategic bombs kill and injure indiscriminately.

Abarmard

This is the reality

by Abarmard on

Thankfully Iran is strong enough to make the West wonder a few times before thinking of an attack. That's good!

Iran needs to stay strong. We should not leave any possibility for the Western bastards to play a war game on our soil. Internally, we will take care of business but no freaking military game on Iran or you will suffer. Message needs to be clear to the Western leeches.

Iranians will fight a hard war against any stupid enemy moves.

Repeating a story enough times….

Till it becomes accepted reality and the US media along with its proxy’s with two-blog-a-day here on IC are exactly part of that strategy.  Haven’t we seen numerous example of that:

  •         Iraq WMD
  •         Barak Hossain Obama is a Muslim
  •        Birthiers
  •         Iranian Nuclear weapon program

And I concur with RB’s comment here.

Posting in cap and yelling is of no help any more. Face it IRI blew it and now it is alone. No amount of bravado is going to help. What "Iran"you and I both realize Khomeini had no love for Iran.

The IRI tries whipping up nationalism whenever it is threatened. But as soon as the threat is gone they are back to their old ways. In fact they have not even stopped their old way! Dude the gig is up and at least I am not falling for it.

After Iraq propaganda has got pretty ineffective. Besides if you read this:

//iranian.com/main/2012/feb/waiting-order

it does not need to cost that much. No need for an outright attack.

It is shameful that this guy look for truth and deviance and some called Iranian are so eager on war and getting kill of their own people. Shame on them. It is not only Former CIA Agent Pushes War With Iran but also Rajavi`s slaves who are paving the road to war. The brain-washed people who are allied with Sadaam and now spaying for Israel and God knows who else.

Long Live IRAN for EVER,

VPK, Going to the American public and asking for their support

by Oon Yaroo on

in removing the IRR regime is like asking them for half of their paycheck every month to pay for more welfare programs! It won't fly and its a nonstarter!

But, making them nervous (justifiably) about the potential dangers IRR (very highly likely) can bring upon everyone would make them to give you their entire monthly paycheck with no questions asked!

That's how propaganda works!

It has worked in the past, works now, and will work for ever!

You are right but I rather be honest with things. If West really plans to remove the Islamic Republic then say it! No BS about nuclear or Osama because people see through it. Make a well thought plan and make your goals obvious. Then get buy in from the public and go for it. Not this *** that insults our intelligence. An open plan is best because it will be aired out. Any flaws detected making success more possible.

another well informed American journalist who debunks the assupmtions of war mongers in U.S. media that is pushed down our throats by the Israeli Lobby.

The Israeli Lobby is using the same old formula that was used by Hitler to eliminate his opponents and it is as follow:

"If you repeat the same 'Lie' over and over again people eventually will believe it as 'The Truth'.

Good report, thanks for posting it here.

Here is another good report posted on IC today:

Oon Yaroo

It's time for IRR to go...and whatever justification is needed..

by Oon Yaroo on

they will make!

The decisions have been already made! It is not a matter of if and but, but rather when which seems to be pretty soon like this year!

Iranians should spend their time and energy not in preventing an attack on IRR but rather worrying about the aftermath and how they can participate in rebuilding of what will be left behind...!?

Reality-Bites

You know...

by Reality-Bites on

I detest the rule of the IR and believe they ARE intent on developing nukes. You'd have to be naive not to believe IR is after nukes eventually, despite the fact there is no hard evidence (yet) to the contrary, as this guy points out. But that's only a belief on my part, it is not hard evidence.

So, I'd have to agree with Uygur in his castigation of much of American media and hardline politicians in their distortion of news/intelligence/expert reports to drum up the shaky justification for military action.

What the West needs to do is keep pushing for IAEA inspectors to get inside Iran's nuclear facilities to find out what's going. And it should give full international support to the people of Iran in their struggle against the IR.

Launching military strikes against the IR will only play into the regime's hands. It will likely result in innocent people getting killed and many more people, who are otherwise anti-IR, getting behind the regime. And this is exactly what the IR wants.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

My point

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

As I said housing Osama's family is not the problem. The family is not responsible for actions of the guy. See Fred how silly the argument is? If you want to condemn IRI do it for the right reason. For example their treatment of Iranian people. Assasination of Iranian opposition both in and out of Iran. Their list of real crimes is rather long. Why not use the reall ones.

پندارنیک

I dare to ask.........

by پندارنیک on

.........What's exactly illegal (not to be confused with immoral) about hosting some members of Bin-Laden family?

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Who cares about Osama's family

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Fred why worry about Osama as if it makes a difference. IRI has to go regardless of where they live. This kind of argument is putting focus on the wrong thing. Americans may be persuaded by it but not Iranians.

I think a better argument against IRI is its treatment of Iranians. The Islamic nature of the regime and its abuse of our national heritage. Not the nuclear thing or Osama. The more we focus on the wrong things the easier for IRI to dismiss it.
