PCED: Leva Khanjani, a Bahai citizen banned from continuing her education, appeared at Tehran's Evin Prison on Saturday, August 25, 2012 to begin serving her two-year prison term.
Leva Khanjani and her husband, Babak Mobasher, were first arrested on January 3, 2010 and were later transferred to Rajaee Shahr Prison. The couple was released on bail on March 1, 2010. The Tehran Revolutionary Court sentenced the couple to two years in prison on September 29, 2010. Branch 54 of Tehran Appeals Court under Judge Movahed later upheld the sentence.
Leva Khanjani is granddaughter of Jamaleddin Khanjani, one of seven Bahai leaders who were sentenced to 20 years in prison after their May 2008 arrest. She is also sister of Foad Khanjani, who was sentenced to four years in prison by Tehran Revolutionary Court on January 17, 2012. Both Jamaleddin and Foad Khanjani are now serving their sentences inside Rajaee Shahr Prison.
Leva Khanjani's father, Alaeddin Khanjani was also arrested by security forces on February 10, 2010 and was released on bail on March 16, 2010.

Who would support such a criminal system for Iranians?
by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Mon Aug 27, 2012 03:42 PM PDTThe USA & also UK/France who are also supporting these criminals for Libya, Egypt, Iraq, iran, afghanistan and syria. In time one after another societys will collapse to Islamists with Covert western support the same type used aginst the late shahs iran, the regression, corruption, poverty and inhumanity is a reflection of the tyranny Americans implemented to thwart Iran. Stating the truth nd informing others s essential if Iranians are to join the civilized world once again instead of acting like total Idiots and betraying a Great King and accepting the wests lies about him ad his team, dictator, tyrant, autocrat, despot, opposed to human rights directing savak to committ crimes against the law and one act after another that his majestys team had no motive of commiting and goes agiast the truth which is that their accomplishments for Iran was what the west lead by the USA opposed and intentionally aimed to thwart.
We need enough Iranians to get in line with reality at some point, so that they can overcome the manipulations and deceptions of the past and can act with clarity today correctly. Or we can just give up entirely and accept that Iran is gone as a result of the people losing their only Proven Patriotic Institution of Monarchy and leave the people to continue to be manipulated and dominated for good, so the people can not learn what was done to them, by whom and why & Iranians pursue hopes which are not founded in reality for Iran and live each day for these false hopes.
Of course living for False Hopes will produce more of the cruelty we see and having false hopes like this is obviously very cruel in that which it denies Iranians of their real confidence and hope. Which is exactly what the West wishes for Iran, the USA and her Freedom Loving Allies, Her Grand Humanitarian Friends with their love for Human Rights and Democracy (tongue in cheek) for Iranians and others. On the one hand this has left Iranians with the West which are HYPOCRITS/deceitful liars and most of its Intellectuals which are officially Antellectual for being used as participants in allowing this to happen.
Tolerance, acceptance
by Parsy on Mon Aug 27, 2012 02:39 PM PDTTolerance, acceptance and respect for other religions are the signs of Strength something that is lacking from the IRI regime and their leaders; Separation is what they preach, something that was brought by the iron-fist of Khomeini's IRI regime and the Islamic revolution of 1979….

The Must of Air/Naval Quarantine?
by Demo on Mon Aug 27, 2012 12:30 PM PDTThe most oft-repeated request of the 'traitor' below to bring a regime change was last time tried in 1962 by JFK which was about to lead to WWIII:

Regime change for Iran's sake
by Fred on Mon Aug 27, 2012 10:24 AM PDTThe Messianic Islamist Rapists are predators, they have been for the past 34 years, and they’re incapable of anything but committing gross violation of human rights and crimes against humanity.
Regime change by Iranians with logistical help from the sane world is the only way out of this nightmare.
Backbreaking airtight sanctions plus air/naval quarantine is a must.

Iranians of all walks of life taking a stand for their freedom and just rights. They are to be commanded and supported by all freedom loving folks.
Iranians need to stand united in their support for these brave souls, support their goals and aspiration for a free independent and prospers Iran.
Foreign nations which thru their apartheid policy practice the same insanity and unjust detentions cannot be a good example for the future of Iran and need not to apply.
