Kurds never gave the late shah any diffiuculty.  Really I had many different neighbours & friends that were Kurds and the most loyal monarchists I know.  Your anti-monarchism is not based on the national culture of Iran, my views maybe strongly influenced by the thousands of iranians who created Irans national culture.  For the thousandth time Irans population was 35 million in 1979, almost 5 million left Iran after he left.  Such a massive loss of leadership would cause many places to collapse very quickly.  Not sure you can comprehend the importance of the shah or Irans National culture as you fantacize about an Iran that never existed.

Dear APSM, at least try to read the enclosed link before you reply. If you had 'bothered' to read that link you would have known that people in Kurdestan like many other parts of Iran did not support shah or khomeini.

An independent mind, independence in action and thinking on your own is pretty much unimaginable for you monarchists.

For the thousandth time, shah had no team, HIM was the team! That's why as soon as he left, everything he left behind collapsed in less than a week.

On being deceived, my view is if you didn't defend the late Shah and his team, you were deceived.

As for Kurds, like Isfahan, they were mostly pro-shah during revolution.
