Good point Rahmanian jaan
by Reality-Bites on Fri Apr 06, 2012 04:24 AM PDTWhat's the point of having a lawyer, when lawyers themselves are jailed for trying to do their jobs and standing up for the rights of the "accused".
The juidicial process under the Islamic Republic is a joke, an insult to the very idea of fairness and justice.
Any decent legal system must be completely independent, especially from the ruling elite, so that it is able to hold eveyone to account. The one under the IR, is nothing but an instrument of the Mullahs' reign of terror.

by G. Rahmanian on Thu Apr 05, 2012 10:30 PM PDTLook at the bright side of this case. Had he been allowed to have a lawyer, his lawyer too would be in jail by now!
Let's all wish a sudden death for the criminal regime of IR.
"he was not allowed to have a lawyer"

Justice Islamist style!
Freedom for all political prisoners should be the demand of every patriotic, freedom loving Iranian, regardless of his/her political views.

So many of conscientious journalist have chosen freedom over career and as a result they are spending their promising years behind bars. They deserve our gratitude and support for their immediate and unconditional freedom.
My hats off to each and every one of these brave souls.
