Harpi !!

cool down .... they are still burying girls alive in some part of the world ... well in some other form .... after all it is 21 century  and there are some high tecq thingy going on ..

"The phenomenon of female infanticide is as old as many cultures, and has likely accounted for millions of gender-selective deaths throughout history. It remains a critical concern in a number of "Third World" countries today, notably the two most populous countries on earth, China and India. In all cases, specifically female infanticide reflects the low status accorded to women in most parts of the world; it is arguably the most brutal and destructive manifestation of the anti-female bias that pervades "patriarchal" societies. It is closely linked to the phenomena of sex-selective abortion, which targets female fetuses almost exclusively, and neglect of girl children."

By the way, sorry to inform you but I am a muslim ..

Question for Soosan Khanoom ...

by Harpi-Eagle on

You say "By doing so,they are actually doing the same thing that used to be practiced centuries ago and that is to burry the girls alive.". I assume you are refering to the Pre-Islamic Arabs. Where exactly are you getting this information, and if that were true and they did indeed burry their daughters, would that not have skewed their population to a male majority population and ultimately decimate the entire population as a result?

I think it is irresponsible to repeat and spread dis-information that was fictional and created by the Islamists in order to justify their hurrendous treatment of women. If you want to see the real depths of ignorance, superstition, and unfair treatment of women, you have to go no further than reading the Soureh An Nessa of Quran.

This traitor Rozeh Khoon (Jannati) did not come up with his prehistoric way of thinking by himself, it all goes back to ths Sadre Islam starting with the Narcisist Mohammad himself. May Ahura cleanse this cancerous tumor (Islam) from our culture and from our minds once and for all.

Payandeh Iran, our Ahuraie Fatherland

Do you think a death sentece

by Simorgh5555 on

Do you think a death sentece should be commuted for old people? is he simply old and senile to be aware of what he's saying or does he need to be put down like the old dog that he is? Off course, I don't mean euthanaising him humanely.

LOL ..... Disenchanted

........

Anyway, these morons in Iran are afraid of the woman more than anything else and all they ever think of is to cover her.   It is not the idea of Hejab that I am against for cause I do respect the right of a woman in anything she chooses to wear or not to wear. It is the idea of mullas who want the women covered. By doing so,they are actually doing the same thing that used to be practiced centuries ago and that is to burry the girls alive.

When you take the choice out of a woman's hand and give yourself the right to decide for her, whatever that decision is , you are actually burring her alive.

I hope one day Iranian women get untied, both those who observe hejab and those who do not, so they can fight this devilish power.

This is just it...

by Ali P. on

Why do YOU have to be ashamed, if a woman (be it your sister, your neighbor, your compatriot) is not dressed the way you want her to be dressed?

She is her own person!

She is NOT your property!

Quash that 1400-year-old mentality, Mr. Jannati!!

acting all innocent and pretending they don't know about it.

As if the "society" 1200 pound gorilla in the room, yearning for freedom is going to let them steal their ablity to defend their freedom.

The next elections are going to be a big problem for mullahs wishing to suppress societies rage against them.  Time is not on their side.
