You sound a lot like SP. This is my last post to you as it is a waste of time. You want one: Bozorgmehr.

Arabs desroyed the records and now *** like you claim there were none. Go find someone else to waste the time of.

I am done with you.

Good bye & good riddence.

"Medevil "Muslim" scholars were running on the leftover glory of Sassanids"                                                                                                                                                                                             I honestly can't tell if you're some obnoxious troll or just very uneducated. Here let me make it easy for you. I named five very prominent Muslim Persian scholars, you name me one Sassanid scholar or scientist. Not five, but one. You should have no problem coming up with an answer since you're such an expert on the glorious Sassanids.

Gift of Jews is their love of learning. It is the result of their culture. They chose to work hard to learn. You make all the fun you like. Meanwhile they make science and advance. Who is ahead? Israel has a GNP of

Medevil "Muslim" scholars were running on the leftover glory of Sassanids. Just imagine if Sassanids had not fallen. Iran would have been the most advance nation. Over time Islam used up their greatness and took credit for it. Islam did not contribute anything so when that was gone nothing more came to be. Slowly but surely they replaced reason with khorafat. Safavids finished the job with their Shia nonsense. Now instead of learning people beat themselves up for Hossain!

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Top Priest

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

I do not know of a top priest. This is not the Vatican! Why do you need a top priest. They function for rituals and so on. If you want to convert just find one who is willing to do it.

Plus the structure depends on which version you talk about. They have different organization and systems. For example Zoroastrian Assembly is liberal. Iran based Zoroastrians are more like "conservative". Both take converts.

The Parsi are like ultra-orthodox and do not take converts. So you really do not have a single system that has a single leader.

Who is the highest Zoroastrian priest?

by pedro on

Back to converting to Zoroastrian. I have converted a long time ago but as a symbolic uniting gesture, I'm willing to do that again.

Lets not get distracted with islam and Judaism, we've got more pressing and important topic to talk about.

Benyamin, what did you think about extending an invitation to Zoroastrian priest. BTW. who is the top Zoroastrian priest.

Stop Execution and torture of Iranians in Islamic regime Prisons

"Gifted" implies that someone has a natural or God given talent. The word has nothing to do with culture. You know exactly what you said and you've been exposed as a Jew worshipper.                                                                                                                                                                                               And you're right. Khwarazmi, Ibn Sina, Al-Razi, Omar Khayam and countless other medieval Persian and Arab scholars and scientist were all Jews *sarcasm*                                                                                                                                                                                                               This video is for all the misguided people here who worship the Jewish people or Israel:                                                                                                                                                                                                                //www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOFLa-1a1lM&feature=channel_video_title

Marathon-Man

فتنه‌ها در سر دین و وطن است   این دو لفظ است که اصل فتن است.ا)

These poor children are being brain washed the same way that Muslim kids are and that's absolutly wrong and bararic.

These kids should rather be edgucated and helped to find their own way forward.

The world must wake up in the 21st centuray and act wisely.

I personally believe dictating any religion in any shape or form is completely wrong and uncevilised.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Very Gifted

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Actually it was a quote from Tolkien when asked if he was a Jew by a Nazi. He said: “I appear to have no ancestors of that gifted people.”

Why are they gifted? Because as a culture they value education and learning. Unlike Islam which values submission and khorafat.

Just go compare the list of achievement by Jews in recent times to that of Muslims. Or in fact to any other people.

PS,

Don't bother telling me Muslims invented things 1000 years ago. That was before Islam got to fully penetrate the minds of its converts. I am talking about now not history.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Khuzistan

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

Is a multi ethnic region of Iran. The population is: between 4-5 million. The total Arab population of Iran is between .5 to 2 million. They are a minority in Khuzistan of between .5 and 1million.

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kh%C5%ABzest%C4%81n_P...

//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_Arabs

Now of the Arabs in Kuzistan many are patriotic Iranians. In fact questioning their loyalty as a whole is a big insult to them. The Iranian Arabs include some well known Iranians admiral Ali Shamkhani.

Therefore the majority of Khuzistan is populated by those loyal to Iran. Many of whom are "Arabs" by race but Iranian at heart.

alaaf

"very gifted Jewish people"

by alaaf on

lol You just gave it away Veiled Prophet.  So you're either a Jewish agent or a Jew worshipper. And why would they be "very gifted" in comparison to the rest of humanity? Surely you don't believe in "God's chosen people" racist nonsense, do you?

alaaf

Benyamin

by alaaf on

I'm not saying Arabs are right or wrong. I'm not judging anyone. I'm just saying things as they are. Have you been to Khozestan? The Ahvazi Arabs want to speak their own language and keep their own tribal traditions. They definitely don't want to have Shahnameh imposed on them.                                                                                                                                         And I never said anything about race. Iranians all belong to the same mongrel mid-eastern race, like the rest of the mid-east. The differences are trivial. We're talking about culture and identity, not race.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Now I know

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

that I am right about what I said. All the hard core Islamists are in a rage.Name calling is of course their favorite approach. Devoid of logic and reason that it all they got.

I will respond:

  • Alaaf: I am not a member of the very gifted Jewish people. If I were I would not be ashamed. I would proudly admit it. You seem to have a problem with Jews. It is known as antisemitism. Do yourself a favor and get over it.
  • Alaaf II: Shahnameh means a great deal to my Azeri family and friends. In fact my mother knows the legends in and out. Over 90% names in my mothers side are given after Shahnameh names. You don't know *** about Azeri people.
  • ComraidsConcubine: Just to let you know: KKK is an anti-black racist organization in USA. I am not against blacks. I voted for Obama. I have no interest in KKK or its ideology.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Azeri

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

My mothers side of family is "Azeri". They are all proud Iranians and have no interest in Turks. My grandfather was a devoted Iranian nationalist. Kasravi was an Azeri and a proud Iranian.

Heck even Khamenei is an Azeri Iranian; not the best one :-) But he pretty much told the "Republic of Azarbayjan" where to stick it and in that case he was right.

Benyamin

Alaaf, you make me laugh

by Benyamin on

Just because the Arabs in the south feel that way about Shahname does not mean that they are actually right! In shahnameh it talks more about the legends and not about the race!

If the Arabs in the south feel that way it is mostly because in the past 30 years the IRI is weakening nationalism and promotes Islamism. If the arabs in the south feel that way it is a victory for the Saudi Arabia and a defeat for Iran. Just to let you know the Arabs in the south are Iranian Arabs, meaning they have always lived there as IRANIANS and never were part of any arabic country. they always lived there side by side with Persians and other people in fact KHUZESTAN was home to many people with different languages and some of them are still there.

So if arabs in the south think that they belong to a different country they are wrong and if you think that they also should be because Shahnameh promotes racism you are too.

Azaries in Iran believe in Shahname, not only in Iran but also ARANIES(the republic of Arazbayjan) too believe in Shahnameh.

Here follows a series of crazy posts reading all sort of projected gibberish into other people's post under the illusion of a discussion.

What the hell are you on about this time?

I think it's time for your exorcism, VPKKK. I'll have to consult DA what the procedure is.

You're a hardcore moron, a buffoon and a Jewish agent. I said I'm an Atheist on the very first line (not that there's anything wrong with being a Muslim). What I'm saying is basic sociology. The Shahname means nothing to the to Khozestan Arabs or Azeires. That's what the Shah tried to do and miserably failed. Kurds and Azeires still call him the Fascist Persian and resent him because of it.

Zartoshti Conversion

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

The easiest way for those in America is to go to Zoroastrian Assembly. Bozorg Bazgasht is primarily in Europe and Russia. Neither are orthodox but to me that is good. The orthodox are too well "orthodox" for my taste :-)

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Vildemose

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

You are absolutely right. Being Iranian means being Zartoshti by culture if not religion. I am not religious but I am culturally Zartoshti. Nowruz; Mehregan;  jumping over fire on Charshanbeh Soori are all Zartoshti in nature.

It is impossible to be Iranian without Zartoshti beliefs. It is what kept us from becoming just another "Arab" nation. If we had followed Egyptians and given up our ancient rites we would be Arab. I really hope that Egyptians one day go back to their roots also. Their loss is a shame. But as an Iranian I am glad we kept ours. I was at a NowRuz celebration in the USA recently. The place was packed and we had lots of fun. Only a 5 or 6 head scarfs among 200 people :-)

By cults you must mean Islam right? A cult that murders anyone who leaves it! A cult that worships an Imam hiding in a well. A cult where people beat the *** out of themselves on Ashura. A cult filled with idiotic rituals for washing your ***. A cult that tells you how to mate with a Camel. A cult that tells you what to do if you fall on your aunt from the roof? Is that right? You Muslims never stop amazing me by your actions.

Did force Iranians into Shia. He was a savage who had a gang of cannibals. He used to feed his enemies live to his cannibals. A true Shia Muslim he was.

Parsi do not take converts. Zartoshti in Iran would take converts except you Muslims kill converts. The resson for decline in numbers is their murder by Muslims.

In America where conversion is allowed the numbers are increasing. I know converts and anyone who wants to convert is able to. It is only among Parsi that conversion is banned.

I see a bright future for Zartoshti as more people specially Iranian find their roots. Even the Parsi liberals are realizing ban on conversion is stupid and as you say results in inbreeding.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

You are a hard core Islamist. And Islam is not holding Iran together. It is nationalism; Shahnameh and old Zartoshti tradition holding us. Things like Nowruz that your buddies hate.

Take your BS and feed it to someone else.

False!  Zoroastrians are a minute minority in India and in Iran and they are on the decline. They do not accept conversion and marry only within the sect.  Therefore, their genes are deteriorating and lead to more genetic diseases like retardation, malformtion, etc.  The Iranian Zoroastrians I have met are among the kindest, more gentle and honest people I have ever met but their fate is tragic.

As to this faith being "universal", so are other religions' claims, even the Baha'i cult.

by vildemose on

The only religion that unites all Iranians is being "Iranian", NOT Islam...

Even An is aware of that.... Also the Empire! That's why they would rather have Islam to divide us as a nation.

alaaf

Beware of the enemies divide and conquer tactic

by alaaf on

I'm an Atheist myself but the only uniting factor holding all of Iran's different ethnicities together is (or was) Islam. If you completely eradicate the uniting religion, people will cling to their ethnic identities. And the enemy is very aware of this and is using it as a tactic. Khozestan Arabs are leaning towards Pan-Arab movements, Azeires to Pan Turkish, Kurds to a united Kurdistan etc, you get the idea.

Another Organization

by Rebecca on

Simourgh 555, thank you for your post. Another good organization which helps people accept the Good Religion is The Zarathushtrian Assembly based in Anaheim.

  Here is their website: www.zoroastrian.org

It is important to note that Zoroastrianism is a Universal religion and does not belong to specifice race, nationality or language.
