Why is Rohani performing in Iran?

Does he live there, or has he been going back from LA and getting paid by the regime to perform?  I need to do some research on that.  If true, then he is yet another turncoat selling to the petrodollar of the Iranian Rapist Islamic regime.

Looking at the size of one of the clarinet players, I guess they either make a decent living or they have a second job, eg teaching!

This was a great performance. If the title was not saying "Tehran Vahdat Hall" I could not tell this was performed in IRan..WOnderful.

I wonder if other "Islamic" countries do have a similar preffesional classical music orchestra (conservatory). My guess is, if they do, it could be in countries like Egypt,Indonesia, Turkministan (due to the Russian influence) and Turkey. Not sure about the rest.   

 Anyway, I enjoyed it.

PS: do these musicians make enough money in Iran to make a decent living?? Just wondering...The majority of Iranians would prefer baba-karam and "dambooli dimbool" music!!
