"Daei and Masoud are going to sing a Pink Floyd song together"

by Bavafa on

LOL,

It seesm Masoud has Daei as his side kick and Daei has his own Masoud for his side kick

H T-G, let's just say that

by Tiger Lily on

you won't be seeing double watching this video. (Watch the audience, and you'll see what they usually do: muck around with the volume to give the impression of a larger one...)

Where's my Bloody Mary, although I like them dry, dry dry?

I'll be thinking about Mr. Walker while jogging tonight. Ms. Palmer and her daughters keep showing up, but we send them away!

Iran for Iranians; Iranians for Iran! Tis is the same kind of populist nonesense some had 32 years ago, didn't help that much. Iran (like all other class socities) is divided to social classes with distinct, at times anatgonistics interests. Cheers

Thank you, H T-G, 'with ya man, with ya! ;)

by Tiger Lily on

Agree, agree and thanks for the 'regime change' tidbit. Dangerous too, if it weren't so 'eggy'. ;)

You too, have a great one. Is Mr Walker around?

P.S. You know, f the lot of them. US, UK, EU, China, Russia,  IRI!

Iran for Iranians; Iranians for Iran!

TL, Mojahedin as the New Gungadin(s),

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

and as good Gungadins they get  lots of monies from foriegners to prop up this facade of 'community presence,"  and posit themselves as an 'alternative'  political force. Whereas in real life, the entire Mojahedin existense is nothing but a gigantic farce spectacle, with a high level of violence. A most dangerous force, not to be underestimated.

However having said all that, overthrowing Islamic Republic of Hell remains and is the best remedy to put an end to Mujahedin and all other cults that have sprung in reaction to Islamic Republic's most ruthless violence.

P.S. "Regime Change," remains one of the most idiotic, distorted terms to use for; overthrowing a regime: social change or social progress. It is basically a neo-con neloliberal term and concept, which has resulted in creation of two (not one but two) Islamic Republics in either side of Iran. These Islamic Republics are the realities that Iranian proponents of "Regime Change" could never explain.

P.S.S. As far as the US's approcah towards IR, as not being bent on 'regime change" see the interview to be posted in the news section, by your humble servant. And have a good weekend.

H T-G, my learned fellow posting person

by Tiger Lily on

We could quablle over the definition of 'grass roots', and I was most probably wrong and should have used a better expression. However, it's not as if MKO has 'elite' members with brains, they haven't got to the stage of being aware of an ideology for it not to be one etc. (as you know, from your studies on Marx...), but they are the only strong opposition force with influence, which of course freaks any sane person out!

My point was to just learn from the way they are organized. We do need a jolly good song or jingle full of slogans to get a message across very quickly. Or at least, very clear cut concepts, that we can shake around in a bag and all of us under an obligation to educate ourselves politically, so that yet another disasterous result of the symptomatic likes (e.g. imbecillic Shariati) of a lack of Civil Society in 1979, doesn't topple sanity.

P.S. Another thing, that's been bothering me. "Regime change". What do people mean?

A different system of government or administration?

Daei and Masoud are going to sing a Pink Floyd song together

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

TL, at the grass roots level MK are hated and despised, the most marginalized group in Iran. Their 'grass  roots' organizing these days is busing Americans to Iranian  events. No respectable Iranian would show up in their event. The only thing keeping them up is all those monies and a traumatized, most confused , manipulated membership; clapping to the songs and holding up the framed picture of the leader with a tie and a mustach,...

Ari Siletz

Not bad!

by Ari Siletz on

The singer kinda looks like Hassan Daei.

Tiger Lily

Learn from MKO!

by Tiger Lily on

We should study or have studied this, the strongest opposition group, very carefully.

Like all fascist fanatics, they are highly organized. They don't crap around with clicking on websites as inane human rights gestures, they organize at grass roots level. They've got a definite hierarchical system, aim, funding and daily activities, including coming up with new songs and videos, which is important in brainwashing to keep the momentum going. Man yeki ke ooneshoono didam.

Unlike the other  'opposition', which plays right into the hands of the IRI, that is either busy with historical revisionism, mostly by imbecillic monarchists finding assylum on IC, alienating sane people, or the rest who haven't even bothered to pick up a f'ing book to actually learn about their soundbite "secular democracy" to then create clear statements and goals.

Veiled Prophet of Khorasan

Rastgoo

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

If you have read mu posts you know I am pretty easy on their rank and file. But not leadership. I said before:

  • The rank  and file should disarm but be given protection in return.
  • They should be allowed to leave the camp and offered options.
  • The options should include moving to a Western nation.
  • They have a good claim for getting Iraqiresident or citizen.
  • They should have the option to go back to Iran if they want.
  • All the above is based on they disarming and becoming normal citizens.

I think it is a fair and reasonable choice. But it applies to regular people not Ravaji.

VPK

by Rastgoo on

Oh...I was being sarcastic.  I do not think that they are evil and held against their will.  They do have faults with their unconditional support of their leadership and they have made mistakes as a group but they are good people and patriots.  We should stop admonishing them because amidst the many mistakes that they have made they have also stood up steadfastly against the regime from the very beginning of the revolution.  My point is that we should not believe in everything that we hear about them as they have been the target of IRI propaganda for over 30 years now.

Agreed Rastgoo

by Veiled Prophet of Khorasan on

When Rastgoo and I agree you know it has to be right !  These people are losing their minds if they had any.

Yes we may feel bad for them but you make a bad decision and pay for it. I am more worried about their victims. Free will comes with responsibility. Join a murder cult; get in deep *** as will the IRI goons.

I worked 3 times with Behnevis since last night and each time it worked perfectly good. I checked it again now, and it was the same.

Go again to the link and give it another try. If the problem persists, just send a message to the admin.

Sometimes it's just a little bug for a few minutes.

Sorry I can't help more.

In the next episode Masoud will be singing Pink Floyd songs

by Hooshang Tarreh-Gol on

including "Money," amongst others. Exactly with who's money(ies) all tis gets done, we're not sure, yet.

Pof. Framarz just when you thought you had seen the movie 1984.

If you pay attention to the rather captive 'audience,' some are holding someone's picture, probably masoud's, it's all part of a, one big amaturish choreography; one second holding the picture, the next moment clapping to the song, all mechanical gestures to prove the cult and its joyous "existence".

Boy they really do look like a cult kept against their will by an evil leadership??!!!  Kudos to the IRI propaganda and our people's propensity for credulity.
