You are not Iranian. You are Iranian-American. Many Iranians do care. That is what you don't understand.

Joojeh simorgh,

Everybody can speak up against injustice from outside, like you and other cowards do.  Speaking up against injustice from within as we do is not hypocrisy, that is bravery.

that the resident akhoond apologists here all live IN THE BELLY OF THE GREAT SATAN!!!

tell me, why is that....perhaps you can't go to bars or strip clubs back in iran  LOL

what is truly pathetic, is that these fools are also 'exiles' otherwise they would be living in the hell that is iran under the ruthless and incompetent mullahs!

and one more thing, if you apologists believe that the plunder of iran's wealth and gifting it to a bunch of no good arab terrorists is being 'iranian' they you are truly out of your puny minds

why don't you guys pack up and go back to tehran, and see how living under the akhoonds is like??

The imaginary world of the Phony Sargord

by AMIR1973 on

I mean, look at poor Amir. All his reference points are what he's personally experienced by certain Americans who look at him, as an Iranian, with hostility.

So now this moron and West-residing IRI Groupie presumes to know what I have "personally experienced"? Besides spouting silly psycho-babble nonsense on a regular basis, it seems that the Phony Sargord has also invented imaginary scenarios regarding my "personal experiences". Once again, this is a perfect demonstration that West-residing IRI Groupies are the lowliest scum element of both American and Iranian societies. Cheers  :-)

Amir - Well done

by Simorgh5555 on

Well done, Amir. Even if Mollah claims not to be anti-American and dishes out the 'I-love-the-people-and-not-the-government' nonsense this still leave the question as why they chose to live in America in the first place?

Don't they know America is funding the 'Zionists' to the hilt? Don't they know that they are the leading imperialists in the world and occupiers of Muslim lands? Yet, despite all the number of countries situated across the four corners of the globe they come and live in America.

They are in the USA or 'Great Arrogance' to take advantage of the many freedoms other Iranians are desprived of and to benefit from the economic prosperity which only America can provide as a result of the same global capitalism Ahmadinejad has condemned.

I mean its not like they weren't spoilt for choice; there are plenty of IR friendly countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Russia or some banana republic or Terroristan they could have chose to re-settle but they didn't!

It just HAD to be America! Or they could have done what Sargord says and not abandon the Meehan and put up with living in Iran like half the rest of the population who live in abject poverty.

Hypocrites to the core.

AK, (I am using only the initials, because I don't want to insult a great Iranian Prime Minister), you're so right about the same level of intelect for AN and Mrs. AN.  As a matter of fact I think I once saw a National Geographuc special where they showed Mahmoud Chita and his wife using grass straws to hunt termites out of a termite mound, and said that was proof for superior intelligence of chimpanzees.  I believe it was Jane Goodall who discovered it.

The problem is neither her chador nor her personally

by Onlyiran on

I don't care if a person wears a chador or a bikini.  People should be free to wear whatever they want.  Personal choices should be respected in a free society.

I also don't have a problem with her personally.  As far as I know, she is not a government official nor is she involved in the running of the IRI.  The problem is her husband and the brutal dictatorship that he is a part of and he represents.

BTW, Mola Palestine, when are you going to give up your American citizenship?  Please make sure to turn it into a party and please also be sure to let us know so that we can attend and take pictures.  We will then boogie all the way down to the L.A. port (kind of like "aroos keshi" in Iran) where we will put you on the next flotilla back to your homeland.

Sargord Pirouz

Mola, you're funny

by Sargord Pirouz on

Yeah, that's it. These exiles on IC resent the fact that they were socially demoted by the revolution, then they suffered the double-whammy of being stuck in a semi-accepted land in near hostile surroundings.

I mean, look at poor Amir. All his reference points are what he's personally experienced by certain Americans who look at him, as an Iranian, with hostility. So every time he finds someone accepting of Iran, he emits the same type of hostility some of his hosts have showered on him.

Stuff like anti-American, terrorist, etc. Those are things Amir has faced here in America as an exile. Yeah, it's tough, but why take it out on the more tempered folks with a similar or same heritage? It's a form of moral cowardice.

But hey, you're in tune, Mola. Not all of us are resentful cowards.

by AMIR1973 on

In conclusion, according to Mola Nasrallah and other West-residing IRI Groupies, as long as any dog barks "Marg bar Amrika" and carries out anti-American terrorism, then we have to support that dog -- no matter how many Iranians they kill, jail, and torture; and no matter how many basic freedoms they deny Iranian men and women (including the very simple individual right not to be forced to wear hejab, if they don't want to). What a pathetic bunch of lowlifes who live in the USA but still support an anti-American and anti-Iranian terrorist regime.

No thanks! I do not want to inhale odour of some sweaty Fati Khanum who wears a black overall in the blazing sun and who refuses to apply wear deodorant because it is made with alcohol.

As for polygamy, didn;t your Prophet Mohammed have more than 1 wife (to put it nicely) and wasn't one of the a nine year old called Ayesha?

Molla, I can live with you calling us anti-Islamic but please don't confuse being anti-Islamic with being anti-Iranian. Islam and Iran do not mix.

AmirKabir

You wrote chador is not in

by AmirKabir on

You wrote chador is not in our culture.

What you meant is, it was not in our culture. Today it is and people should be free to choose to wear or not to wear.  However, freedom of hijab shouldn't interpret to being butt naked. There must be some line drawn to respect the culture and society. Just as you blame Islam for affecting the culture and people for adopting it, you can be blamed for adopting western culture and forcing it to them and many Iranians don't want to be effected by western culture.

Ahmadinejad's wife might be as intelligent as him. So don't judge the book by the cover.  Other ladies seem quite comfortable with her dress.  If you think it shouldn't be any of their business what you wear, then it isn't any of you business what she wears.

We Are Not Chileans!

by Faramarz on

It turns out that some of the rescued miners had their wives and mistresses (Sigheh) both show up at the scene! One of the miners actually has 4 mistresses!

Does that sound familiar?

It is true, we Iranians are not Chilean or French! But we are not Lebanese or Palestinian either!

Let's learn a couple of things from the recent Chilean history.

They dealt with their military dictatorship past with the spirit of democracy and reconcilitaion, instead of hostage taking, vengence and death to this and that! That's why they stand so proudly on the world satge today and look proud not only because of this rescue effort, but also because of how they managed their eathquake aftermath back in April and their economic success in this hemisphere.

It doesn't take much to stick a pipe in the ground to get the oil and sell it and fund the terrorists around the world. It is another thing to take care of your own people and make them prosperous!

These ugly lslamic people

by Arthimis on

These ugly lslamic people were the worst of the worst Arab in genes who were shipped out of Arab Peninsula long ago to the lands they conquered (Unfortunately mainly to Persia/Iran for the past 1400 years)! Kind of like the first White Settlers who were the worst of Anglo race that were shipped to Americas and Australia...

These fanatics and their ways of life are not even followed by the  Arab Muslims such as the Palestinians, Syrians and in this more advance case, Lebanese... (The only equal backwards are Saudis...)

The only reason they are giving them reception out there is for Iran's trillions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ money and help to these poor countries, people and economies.... I am sure, after they get yet another fat check from Antari and I.R. representatives, they laugh their asses off at Iran and Iranians... They must be really happy to have purged their ultimate shit on Iran and Iranians for 1400 years and now we allowed these bastards to rule us internally and represent us internationally!!!!!!!!!!!!! After they are gone from Iran (GOD Willingly soon) if they want to remain in such backwarded fashion in 2010 and beyond, they must all be shipped to Antarctica (Where Antars are welcomed) once and forever and never be allowed to set foot in our HOLY land, Iran!

In the Name of God, Iran prays for that day...

Harpi-Eagle

Re: Mola Nasroding and other Antar-Nacionals ...

by Harpi-Eagle on

First of all Chador is not an Iranian (Persian) phenomenon but an Airab one.  You see the bedouine have always viewed their women as property and Sex Objects, that's why they always tried to cover them up.  But even in the post Islamic Iran, chador is not and never was a symbol or indication of fidelity (Nejabat).  As we all know, all the women in "Shahre Noe" wore chador during the Shah, and many of those same women later formed the original core of the Zainab's Sisters (Khaharane Zainab).  This doesn't mean that chador clad women are all bad or "Na Najib", but I am just emphasizing the fact that chador or no chador a woman could be pure or impure just like any other human being, of course I realize it's too much to ask people like you to view women as full human.

In the last part of your comment you suggest we change our nationality, guess again.  Men like me with "Red Persian Blood" running through our veins will never deny our historical ethnicity, on the contrary we are proud of being Iranians, and you or some Rozeh Khoon or their goons can't do a thing about that.  You see we're not "Inter-Nacional" or in the case of AN "Antar-Nacional" to just forget our origins and go with the flow.  You and your masters remind me of that scene in the movie "Titanic" where all the rats are ruuning in the corrdors of the ship at the first sign of the vessel sinking, that's you guys at the first sign of this ship of fools (IRI) sinking.

By the way I like your Avatar, it reflects your Airab Warshipper personality perfectly.

May I respond to your risible statement that the chador is part of the Iranian culture and recommend that you actually look at archaeological evidence of stone reliefs and carvings which show not only was the disgusting chador EVER a part of the Iranian culture but women wore bright colourful gowns.

Not only that but the wearing of black was forbidden in ancient Persia because darkness was associated with Ahriman and to this day Zoroastrians in Iran despite having to be forced to wear the wretched hijab actually shun black and dark colours.

The ugly hijab was  bedouin import brought to Iran and imposed arbitarily by the evil Muslim conquerors and was a symbol of female degradation.

Ahamdinejad's wife is a pitiful sight and an embarassment to Iran. I can only imagine the leering glances the wives of other Lebanese dignatories must be giving her behind her back.

Hell, even Madaline Albright and Golda Meir look infinitely prettier than the black crowe sitting on that table.

To think of the days when Shabanu Farah and Princess Soraya stunned the world with their elegance and beauty has come to this sorry end.

Death to the Islamic Republic. Please support military action.

Being anti Ahmadinejad

by AmirKabir on

Being anti Ahmadinejad seems to be a fashion for some people these days.

However, I think the financial help to Lebanon and Palestine should come from a regional bank that all countries in the region donate to. This way the cost is distributed among all the countries and not just Iran.

I don't think they should have been left alone after the Israeli genocide which still continues in Palestine.

Iran hating Iranians? LOL  USing cheap tactics apparently has no bounds anymore.

1- Iranians are not chileans but they are all human beings. You can bet that there were more Iranians watching the rescue coverage than watching this.

2- So what? Iranians as in ALL IRANIANS have pride and want to represented with grace and Honor and decency. I guess that would too much to ask then.

3- Sure. why not. I will let you have this one.

4- Making it a habit of rediculing those receiveing unjust and unfair sentences aren't you? Must be proud of yourself. This suggests that you don't even have the slightest of capacity to grasp what is being discussed here and taking it as some chilidish play.

WE have changed our nationalities and YOU HAVE NOT?? Unless that means that you live where you live illegally and lack paper works then you ARE one of US. Go oback and re-read your own words every now and then. Saves you a whole lot of embarrassment.

Listen:

1. Iranians are not Chileans

2. Iranians are not French and the wife of their president is not a model with suspect background.

3. A large number of Iranian women wear chador, it's a part of Iranian culture.

4. Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani who was supposed to be stoned wears a chador too. Why don't you make any derogatory comments about her?

So, stop complaining, most of you have changed your nationality anyway, so introduce yourself as French or British or American. This way you wont suffer from inferiorty complex as much.

The First Families of Chile & Islamic Republic

Last night I was glued to CNN watching the Chilean President and his wife greeting the rescued miners one by one. There was so much charm, humanity and passion in their faces. And then I saw the clips of Ahmadi and his wife in Beirut, two lifeless, sneaky charlatans who are giving the Iranian treasures to a bunch of Hezbollahi for no good reason.

What a contrast!
