Through the past 30 years, trees in Iranian forests, orchards, and neighborhoods have been systematically cut down to foster the greed that has ruled Iran. Citizens have only started to advocate the environment over the past couple of decades in the face of policies and actions by government agencies which do not see the environment as a concern and a part of Iran's national heritage.
I think Maryam Fakhimi's 60 second film goes a long way to show the citizen concern over the lost ecosystems of Iran caused by illegal and ruthless "murder" of trees. Very effective.
