 Arabo-Islamic culture= marg O Azaadaari, soogwair, sinezani,koshtar, durugooyi, badbakhti, beecharegi

Irano-Zartoshti culture= zindagi va shaadi, suroor, raghs va moosighi, khoshbeeni.

I am definitely a Dr. Holakouee fan! I have attended all his classes (some of them twice!) and listen to his radio show regularly.

I think he is doing a great job revealing our flaws and qualities as Iranians, and I love his honest answers and humor.

Authentic culture

Contrary to some of what was presented, the contemporary culture of mourning & geryeh o zaari has little to do with authentic medeo-persian culture in which life cycle moved on with optimism . Zorostrians didn,t build huge cemetries for the dead but burnt their corpses and kept their memory alive thru sessions of  songs ,dance & joy. Even today the most original tribe of Iran, the Bakhtiaris, celebrate their dead thru singing, music & reading joyfilled poetry thru the procession wearing colorfull outfits.

Get Rid of The Mullahs!

The only way to get rid of this mourning custom in Iran is to get rid of these stupid Mullahs or akhoonds and then Islam all together, then we will experience a happy society therefore we would be able to deal with death in a logical way!
