Majles Speaker warns of tough response to international inspection of ships

Novosti: The Iranian parliament on Wednesday warned the West over its possible inspections of Iranian planes and ships, the Isna news agency said. Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani said if the United States or "other reckless countries" plan to inspect Iranian planes and ships, they should be aware that Iran will respond in kind as regards their ships in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. Referring to new anti-Iran laws that were purportedly being drafted by the European Union and the United States, Larijani said the Iranian parliament "calls on the government to not lessen the level of uranium enrichment below 20 percent since these countries have violated the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and refused to provide 20-percent enriched fuel for Tehran's research reactor." He said "the bullying powers" should understand that Iran was expanding the level of enrichment "as a result of their illogical pressure." >>>

He keeps refering to people of Iran. People of Iran are the 90% who oppose this tyranical regime and that is why IRI doesn't give permission for peaceful demonstrations. Who does he think he is kiddding?  Mr. Larijani should know this is not 1980's that people were behind the regime against the war with Iraq and God forbids, if a new war brakes out, most people will not stand by this regime who only in the last 12 months has killed and imprisoned 1000's of it's own people.

The government is actually using this opportunity to consolidate power once again. The mullahs are extremely clever and pragmatic. They have been in power for more than 30 yrs due to their impressive political acumen. And they are making all the right moves in contributing to the shifting global balance of power.

Mahmoudg, the one thing that needs to be shed is the alcohol from your mind and body. It seems like you are talkin nonsense again buddy. The allied bombs will never fall on "their" head but on the heads of the people. Or maybe you're not drunk, but simply a fascist.

As the Khamenie’s handpicked, but namely through the IRI free election process!!!!????, to represent my homies of Qom (even though he is a native of Najaf, Iraq) Larijani never ever speaks even a word regarding the Qomi’s problems. As for so many other IRI ever sweet talking parrots he receives a hefty paycheck for just sitting in front of the TV cameras & for moving his tongue non-stop. Now that is a lot of warming in his pockets!!!
