Sargord, were you Sargord, and is this your photo? Weird!

by obama on

I am just curious. I come from a military family who were all officers including my grandpa, father, broters etc. I also served in the army. That's why I am confused by you calling yourself sargord and putting a photo of yourself and beating your chest! That is if your answer to my question is yes.

I can never imagine any of my family who would go around and brag about that and the wars and how they got wounded! I guess, they are not OGHDE-EE!  I thought the main character of being Persian is to be humble, isn't it?

Morveln

Horrible treatment of the Iranians!

Here is an alternative video. It really blowed me away - Im still in chock!

Have no words to describe what I see.

Style may be creative, but content is obvious

The clip is not really ambiguous.  You can check out the YouTube channel at which it's posted: //www.youtube.com/user/redemptionway

Here's one representative video from that channel:

Sargord Pirouz

Weird

by Sargord Pirouz on

Creative use of 100 year old type film presentation, complete with period jazz music.

But other than that, there wasn't much substance other than the fictionalized overly dramatic ending.

But hey, in a way its a welcome relief from watching the repetitively themed propaganda videos from either camp.

Jahanshah Javid

Politically vague, but entertaining

by Jahanshah Javid on

In the end, Mousavi hangs as if he's as terrible as Saddam. Obviously a joke about the ridiculous "sedition" charges leveled by the regime, right? It's not entirely clear.

Seems like the filmmaker is more interested in comedy rather than taking sides. Everyone from Mousavi, to his wife, to BBC, to Obama, to protesters, to prosecutors seem like a joke.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed its creative style.
