A typical monarchist ( He cracks me up )
by jasonrobardas on Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:45 AM PSTThis fellow sakooie all he can do is cuss , cuss , cuss , cuss. No reasoning , no political sophistication , no intelligent discussion . He is the epitome of faschism . He has no tolerance to hear anything . He does not even stand to hear another person's opinion .
It is funny when someone like him tries to becomes our leader and promises us a future of democracy . He is obviously supported by the so called royal family and the money they stole from our people .
In all fairness , DO YOU DETECT ANYTHING DEMOCRATIC ABOUT THIS IDIOT???

by hamsade ghadimi on Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:51 AM PSTthanks for your response. i guess these people would even promote t-shirts saying "kiss me, i'm a savaki." for sure, there are a wide range of views regarding monarchy within pro-monarchy circle as in any other group. i also agree that reconcilation and civil discourse would be the most effective way to form an opposition to the iri regime. i'm not opposed to any group promoting their agenda as long as it operates within the framework of a democratic society. having said that, some groups with baggage from their previous actions need to empasize their transparancy through admission/clarification of their previous deeds and responsiveness to the public's questions.

by The Phantom Of The Opera on Fri Feb 26, 2010 03:52 PM PSTI categorically object to this partnership thing on the ground of Emil's firm refusal of shaving his legs.
Com'on, sweetie, let's be honest with your audience in Washington. Sooner, or later they will discover the new tactic of the Pahlavis for discrediting the genuine voice of national conscience.
I don't wanna even know who is behind this PR fiasco who tries to portray the issue of the Pahlavis being hated by the Iranians down to the level of a family feud.
The Pahlavis, all mullahs, and all public figures associated with the Green Movement must disclose the source and the amount of their wealth/income.
I agree Souri Khanom
by Farah Rusta on Fri Feb 26, 2010 10:17 AM PSTI had a hearty laugh listening to both Mr Sakouee and his phone-in teasers. Having said that, I think he genuinely hates the clergy and one must give him credit for that.

by Darius Kadivar on Fri Feb 26, 2010 10:17 AM PSTThey believe in Restoring the Monarchy not in an aim towards national reconciliation but blind Revenge.
As such these people have nothing to do with Constitutionalists. I doubt they are even capable of understanding the notion of a Constitutional Monarchy either.
They are not against Reza Pahlavi as a figurehead cause without him as their role model I do not see who else they could run after and remain supportive of the monarchy unless they choose to hail a Qajar Prince ?
I looked through their website and came across old photos of the Iranian Nazi Party the SUMKA in between photos of the Pahlavi Era with no footnote or explanation. These fellows are to the Iranian political Arena what France's Le Pen National Front is to the French Political Arena.
They don't claim to belong to the SUMKA officially but their mindset seems to be very similar.
To the Pahlavis credit the SUMKA never played a major role in Iran under any of the two Pahlavi Kings and were marginalized over the years following WWII. Many relinquished their obsolete ideologies or converted or joined the Constitutionalists. For instance Dariush Homayoun who today leads the Constitutional movement was a former SUMKA when he was 16 or 17 years old when others were nationalists or communist in his generation. It was nothing more than a phase in their political upbringing because it was trendy like reading Kasravi's anti Arab stance.
All political groups have their extremists and we monarchists are not an exception to the rule. After all look at the reformists What does Khalkhali or Ghaffari ( Hoveyda's assassin) for instance have in common with Khatami in the reformist camp ?
But their views do not express anything but their own confused notion of Iranian nationalism or patriotism or whatever you want to call it.
One cannot judge the monarchists or Reza Pahlavi's philosophy based on these people's marginal comments or opinions.
One cannot silence them cause they are entitled to their opinions as everyone else and do so with their own money and independant financial ressources.
And contrary to what the Phantom says, Ashraf Pahlavi does not finance this Television either.
But if people like Phantom want to believe any bolony based on their personal grudge against the Pahlavis rather than listen to informed and unbiaised historians for instance like someone like Abbas Milani ...
Well So be it !
An Olagh Usually Remains an Olagh !
Shahriar Shafigh (Pahlavi)....
by Souri on Fri Feb 26, 2010 10:07 AM PSTBTW, in that report they say Shariar was assassinated by the IRI government.......
I was in France when this happened. According to many journalists, his assassination was not of a political issue, but it was due to the some conflicts between the drug's traffic gangs.
He was from Egyptian blood and have never been heard, saying a word about his Persian Royal blood.
The guy is a real joke...
by Souri on Fri Feb 26, 2010 09:55 AM PSTI have already talked about his program in this site. Once I asked Mrs Rusta, what she was thinking of him, as he seems to be a real joke.
Last year, when I had more time to spend at the Iranian satllite TV, whenever I was bored by other programs, I just turn to Sakuee's program to laugh a bit. My son thought that it was a comedy program :)
BTW, dear Maziar, here is a link to answer your question about Ashraf.
I don't believe she is dead yet (not sure) but Shahram Ghavami (Pahlavi Nia) is still alive, for sure :

by Farah Rusta on Fri Feb 26, 2010 09:55 AM PSTIf partnership should make any sense, it is owed to you two gentlemen. You are both Pahlavi haters and at the same time are semi-closet Qajari admirers. But your natural shyness gets in the way and deprives us from seeing two shining examples of double standards. Come on boys don't be shy, you are among your friends. Spill the beans.

by hamsade ghadimi on Fri Feb 26, 2010 09:43 AM PSTi'm confused. if these guys are attacking reza pahlavi's advisors and you call them pseudo-monarchists, then who do they want to bring to iran as monarch? or is it an elaborate ruse by the iri to discredit the monarchists? or is there an even more private club within the monarchy circles that constitutes the real monarchists? thanks in advance and i'm anxiously awaiting your responses.

Aryamehr TV Not Endorsed by Reza Pahlavi ...
by Darius Kadivar on Fri Feb 26, 2010 05:17 AM PSTThese pseudo monarchists are nothing but Fascists and a disgrace to what the Monarchy has stood for in our country for more than two milleniums.
The Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi by the way issued a statement through his secretariat which I recieved in my mailing a few months after this station's first broadcast in which he clearly distanced himself from the station's activities and statements.
It is therefore not surprising that Saeed Sakuee attacks Journalist Ali Reza Nourizadeh ( as he has also often attacked Mohsen Sazegara) because both are close advisors to Crown Prince Reza and have held meetings together at the Nixon Center last year prior to the elections last June:
PHOTO Mehrdad Khonsari Ali Reza Nourizadeh and Reza Pahlavi at the Nixon Center :
//www.payvand.com/news/09/mar/reza-pahlavi-conference.jpg
See Nourizadeh's blog in reference to this meeting:
//www.nourizadeh.com/archives/004364.php
Opening statement by Reza Pahlavi at the Nixon Center Here and the Crown Prince's conclusions in his opening statement:
"We believe that a democratic Iran will guarantee a popularly elected secular system of government with checks and balances and a clear delineation of power. This will ensure a vibrant civil society wherein people of different ethnicities, religious, socio-economic groups, and political persuasions will coexist peacefully while rebuilding their homeland. Iranians are a gifted people with a great civilization. It is time to allow them to freely choose for themselves the political system of their choice, and towards that goal, all Iranians and non-Iranians who share this end must unite."
Mr Saeed Sakuee would be well advised to revise his behavior even in the face of vulgar prank calls for his attitude is not only counter productive but also a disgrace to what any genuine Monarchist and Constitutionalist stands for in this day and age.Even if I do not disagree with all of his assessments here (vocabularly excluded), his attitude and vulgarity here is the "mirror image" of the IRI thugs own Mentality he claims to want to fight.
My Humble Opinion,
Darius KADIVAR
A Euro Constitutional Monarchist whose convictions have not been corrupted by IRANICAN-LA Bazari Mentality !
