CNN: Angered by a British envoy's criticism of Iran's human rights record, Iran is considering severing ties between the two countries, Iranian media said. "It is time we gave a decisive response to Britain and showed that the Iranian nation will not remain indifferent to such clear insults and flagrant interferences," lawmaker Aziz Akbarian told the semi-official Fars News Agency on Wednesday. The Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission approved a bill Sunday that would cut diplomatic ties. It was submitted for approval to the full parliament Tuesday >>>

by Simorgh5555 on Thu Dec 23, 2010 12:08 PM PSTYes, indeed. as you may have gathered I live in the UK and I see they are populating areas such as Kensington and west London.
It was sickening to see the former Foreign Secretary Jack Straw (the darling of the IR) cowtowing to a bunch of IR embassy thugs in that hideous Shah Abbas exhibition at the British Museum.
You know what the most funniest thing is? Their favourite shop is the Israeli supporting retailer Marks and Spencer. They spend enough cash there! Hah!
Have you seen their controversial plan for a new embassy in London?
//www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/aug/01/iran-i...
I wonder what will become if it if the IR decides to close the British embassy in Tehran. I hope the UK government will now deny permission to the ghastly IR vanity project.
Simorgh, have you also noticed the sudden influx of.....
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Thu Dec 23, 2010 11:38 AM PSTIranians, almost entirely islamist regime supporters and their relatives into UK? I lived in London from 1988 to 1996 mostly as a student and there were not many of them around then. Nowadays, each time I visit london, I am amazed by the apparent increase in their numbers. I get the feeling UK must be one of the last places in the west which still issue these islamist vermins with visas and residency so easily. UK must be one of the last refuges for these islamist rats jumping the sinking boat of "islamic republic", and it makes you wonder why.

by Simorgh5555 on Thu Dec 23, 2010 11:29 AM PSTAbsolutely spot on. This regime eats out of the hand of Whitehall and the MI6. Iran and England have a love-hate relationship but it is always the Mullahs who try to kiss and make up. They have no dignity.
The islamist regime will never "break ties" with Britain.
by Roozbeh_Gilani on Thu Dec 23, 2010 11:25 AM PSTWhy? Next time in London, just take a walk around fashionable shopping areas of west end and see these Bassiji "soliers of islam", all too busy buying from Fake to real Gucci and other luxury items to wear. There must be at least tens of thousands of these fat, lazy islamist parasites firmly embeded in UK, either already UK citizens or desparately trying to gain a UK passport for the certain day when people of Iran rise up and send this shameful islamist regime to the dustbin of history.

by Simorgh5555 on Thu Dec 23, 2010 11:13 AM PSTThe Islamic Republic: condemn it, isolate it, fight it, and destroy it.
Bring its criminals and defenders to justice. Hang them by their testicles and let them twist in the wind.
Please suppport military action!
They may also cut ties with Russia after this if Ratified ;0)

by choghok on Thu Dec 23, 2010 02:03 AM PSTThat is somewhat an acceptance on his behalf that something is wrong in Iran. Also if democratic countries would even look the other way they could hear people getting killed and rights being neglected, you do not even need a microscope, you look at the clips on the internet or read the news.
