The matter will be brought to the attention of German authorities (as clearly stated in the video) and if no agreement reached, they can complain to the European Court of Human Rights. In Europe thankfully the justice system is independent of the police and the government and there is a good chance that they can show that unnecessary force has been used.

Is police the law or the enforcer of it?

This is a "legal" question:

Can the police alone decide what banner/slogan is legal/allowed and what is not? Or such a decision can only be taken by a court of law?

The protesters were merely repeating what millions of Iranians chanted after the "selections" in Iran. This is not propagating violence and only reflects the wishes of the majority of Iranians inside and outside of the country.

I hope the protesters take this matter to the court and defend our rights in supporting our countrymen/women inside the country.

Just had a chance to view the entire video and read most of the comments.Very proud of the demosntrators. Great direct action successfully executed on Iranian side. No doubt good publicity on local media  Fortunately no casualties on Iranian side, and police will end up losing in the court and more bad publicity for Islamist regime. All together great success and the demostraters strategy and actions were absolutely right. Thank you guys!

Instead of making a scene, this should have been settled in court. If freedom of expression is being denied, then these people have a case against the police and a lawsuit should have been the next step. Putting up a fight is dumb and goes against what we're trying to achieve. We're way too emotional and so quick to paints ourselves as victims it's sad.
They want to take your banner, give it to them. If your right under the German constitution is being denied take it up with the court, not the police.

Wir protestieren in aller Schärfe gegen den brutalen Polizeieinsatz am
10. Dezember 2010 - dem internationalen Tag der Menschenrechte - vor der
iranischen Botschaft in Berlin. Bei dieser angemeldeten Kundgebung
wurden acht teilnehmende Menschenrechtler/innen zum Teil schwer
verletzt.

Eine offensichtlich unbegründeten Anzeige von Angehörigen der iranischen
Botschaft in der Podbielskiallee in Dahlem gegen protestierende
Menschenrechtler/innen führte am - offenbar ohne weitere Überprüfung
der Rechtsmäßigkeit – zu einem unverhältnismäßigen und besonders
brutalen Einsatz der Berliner Polizei.

Am 10. Dezember 2010 fand vor der iranischen Botschaft – wie schon seit

Übergriffen staatlicher Institutionen, von unberechtigten Inhaftierungen

iranischer Botschaftsangehöriger ein Anzeige wegen angeblicher
Beleidigung von Vertretern eines ausländischen Staates erstattet hatte.
Das „Corpus delicti“ war eine Transparentaufschrift: “Nieder mit der
islamischen Republik Iran”. Trotz des Hinweises der Demonstranten auf
die Rechtmäßigkeit dieses seit vielen Jahren ohne Beanstandung
verwendeten Transparents und auf die Meinungsfreiheit in Deutschland,
ließen die an diesem Einsatz beteiligten Berliner Polizisten nicht ab
und forderte dessen Entfernung. Letztendlich wurde das Transparent den
Menschenrechtlern unter Gewaltanwendung entrissen. Einige Zeit verstrich
nach der Beschlagnahmung des Transparents, bis die eingesetzten
Polizisten begannen wahllos, gekleidet mit gepanzerter Uniformen, auf
friedliche Demonstranten einzuprügeln und einzutreten; auch eine
Hundestaffel wurde zur Abschreckung eingesetzt. Am Ende dieses Angriffs
blieb die 57-jährige Frau am Boden liegen und musste mit dem

پلیس پلاکارد تظاهر کننده هارو به زور می‌خواد بگیره بدون اینکه تظاهر کننده‌ها کاری کرده باشن یا خشونتی نشون داده باشن. برخورد پلیس آلمان قطعاً غیر قانونی‌ و بر خلاف پروتکل خودشونه. شاید بهتر بود که میذاشتن پلیس پرچم شعار رو بگیره و از اون ویدئو میگرفتن. همین  جوریش هم ادا و حرکات پلیس آبرو ریزیه. ولی‌ آلمانا برای یورو جون میدن، پلیس رو در اختیار حرومزاده‌های اسلامی گذاشتن که چیزی نیست. قرارداد `مگ لو` هم حتمی شده و نباید به خطر بیفته. کتک زدن چند تا تظاهر کننده قیمت کوچیکی.  این جمهوری ادمخوار اسلامی
