Home, sweet home...

by comrade on

What I don't really understand is why those of us, who can apparently enjoy the political atmosphere in Iran have chosen to reside abroad.

Of course we should exclude the commissioned agents.

Every Day We Get A Little Bit Closer!

Time will tell

by bachenavvab on

When I first saw the ad for this event on daftar.org my first reaction was: who will go on an all expenses paid trip to iran when it is paid for with blood money?  Now that I see this, I am thinking, let's wait until they go back and then the facts will come out.  This regime and it's media are masters of propaganda and deceit.  I have little doubt that there were IRI plants in the crowd, selection of clips were subjective and some doctored up, attendees were manipulated and perhaps intimitated.  Like I said, time will tell.

Professional commentators need not respond,  I won't engage.

Folks folks, I know you all get upset and riled up when I start

by pastor bill rennick on

using the "B" word but honestly wouldn't you say that this place, event, and gathering would be the perfect target for any potential American strikes?

God bless American Troops!

Arthimis

Don't tell me the guy who

by Arthimis on

Don't tell me the guy who is on min.2:40 is Q ! LOL!

Anyone who is supporting and collaborating with this regime from the start to now is a traitor to Iran and all those Mothers and families who lost a loved one to this EVIL backwarded and ugly regime, period.

These bastards are all TALK, but when it comes to action, they have used deadly force against innocent Iranians just for NOT agreeing with them... Plus, they have stole Trillions of Iran's enormous wealth and are indirect Puppets of the super -Powers from the start!!! The imperialists of West and East could have NOT find a better (stupid) business partner than Satanic Republic in the entire world...

Kaarnaameh in regime yeki az SIAH-TAREEN Kaarnaamehaye in Donyaast... Making few roads, parks and Freeways after 31 years is NOT even a drop compare to what Iran and Iranians could have achieved under a Free, Democratic and Educated (in line with civilized world..)in all these years...

This is NOT a theory or an idea, It's a fact that the whole world knows and especially True Iranians...

Nefreen Aalam bar regime khonkhaar Jomhori Eslami va tamaami tarafdaraanash az aval taa aakhar....

Iran will be Free and those responsible for all the crimes against humanity will be brought to justice...

Be Omid aan rooz...

Free Iran and true Iranians.

AMIR1973

Self-evident, Q

by AMIR1973 on

So, that's proof that your questions are total BS, since you've already made up your mind about the answers.

Actually, I never got a real answer from you (or the other West-residing IRI Groupies), just a failed attempt at humor. But yes, it is self-evident that you are a hypocritical Islamist goon, starting with your avatar.

Q

Excellent, Amir

by Q on

So, that's proof that your questions are total BS, since you've already made up your mind about the answers. Now we know not to bother with them.

Thanks for saving us countless headaches in the future. :)

AMIR1973

Q jan

by AMIR1973 on

Actually it's you really need to make up your mind.

Okay, I made up my mind: You are a hypocritical Islamist who supports a regime that kidnaps Americans, takes them hostage, burns their flag, chants death to their country night and day, etc--but you live in America anyway. What Islamist goonish behavior. No surprise there.

BTW, that's me answering you on my own behalf  .-)

ghalam-doon

I think I saw Galloway there too...

by ghalam-doon on

I wonder if he had an audience with his newly found hero while in Iran, since his last hero, well expired:

AMIR1973

Q: Lame attempt at humor

by AMIR1973 on

I don't doubt for one second that West-residing IRI Groupies loathe the U.S., but they really need to make their attempts at humor more humorous. Keep your day job, and may I suggest choosing a less bloodthirsty Islamist goon as an avatar while you're at it. Regards.

Q

Fooladi, interesting

by Q on

So you are anonymous because you think anyone in Iran gives a rat's ass about your views on the Internet. You are free to be delusional, but an interesting question arises.

Why do you take trips to IRI if you hate it so much?

جار و جنجال‌های «همایش ایرانیان خارج کشور»

Patriot

Q: Let's make it simple: whay dont I just send my name...

by fooladi on

plus address here, and my realtives names and addresses to your ettelaati brothers in Tehran and quote your name for bonus referral and on my next trip to tehran just ask the cab driver to take me straight to Hotel Evin? You are more stupid than I originally imagined.

Now just answer the question mr "Q" the writer: why dont you live in Iran next door to your khalifa and his vazir instead of LA LA land?

Q

Amir: simple answer

by Q on

We anti-American agents endure a lot of hardship living in the belly of the Great Satan even though we hate everything about it, in order to find out how to best destroy it.

Satisfied?

Q

Fooladi,

by Q on

First, since you are a freedom loving free person who lives in the land of the free, please introduce your free self, so we can have a genuine discussion.

PS. Stupidity on IC, hardly touches any nerve for me anymore. You might try harder next time! :)

AMIR1973

Why do supporters of an anti-American regime live in America?

by AMIR1973 on

Rather than in the country where they were born and raised? A simple question.

fooladi

I did touch a raw nerve "Q", didnt I?

by fooladi on

Good :)

Now just answer the question mr "writer". Why dont you live and "write" in tehran, in close proximity of your beloved khalifat instead of LA?

Q

any knee-jerk attack dog,

by Q on

who is too stupid to click on my profile and see that my full name is publically listed, while himself being anonymous is really at the bottom of the intelligence totem pole and not worth wasting time with, in my immodest view.

:)

fooladi

Any regime , whose supporters call themselves "Q".....

by fooladi on

instead of using their real names, for fear and shame of being recognised and live abroard instead of within the country and system they claim to support, does not have a very bright future IMHO. :)

Q

saptima, you are deluding yourself

by Q on

What a surprise! Yet another self-congratulatory "explanation" with abslutely no evidence, followed by a personal attack. Your ideas about who these people are and why they are there is only feel-good conjecture.

First of all, who the hell are you to say who is "representative" of Iranians abroad? When the a-holes who control all Perisan media calling themselves "representative" of "all Iranians" (not even those abroad) were claiming "real Iranians" will not participate in IRI elections, 85% of Iranians did. When the same out-of-touch extremists tried to denounce the reformists and the Green movement thousands of Iranians came to demonstrate in favor of the greens, far outnumbering the monarchists and cultists who can't stand the Greens.

So, random "drive by" bullshit explanations really don't cut it anymore. I'm so sick of these baseless attacks on fellow Iranians.

Let us for a brief moment entertain the idea that so many of our hamvatans are willing to go through great difficulties to go to Iran, and just act like they support the regime for airline tickets.

If there are really that many people willing to do this, even at this time of mass demonization of Iran in western media, if there are that many Iranians who are willing to spend a whole day beating their chest in exchange for "juice", then I ask you, how can we ever have any real democracy in Iran?

These assumptions are nothing but feel good fantasies. It feeds into the sense of elitism on the part of Iranians in the west who like to think of themselves as the best and brightest and the "natural" leaders of the rest of Iranians.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble.

ghalam-doon

Q: It's even worse!

by ghalam-doon on

I wish they had gone for Sandis. These "doctors, professors, international Iran scholars with full and complete careers" have been able to watch the events of last year without any filtering. They know exactly what's going on inside I.R. prisons and they know how the voice of discontent has been silenced. They have been witnessing how the election was stolen by Mr. Ahmadinejad and his loyal supporters in Sepah. And still they decided to go?

I sympathize with those who are brainwahsed constanly from the day they are born to "think" there is something sacred and holy about this regime. But how about all these  "doctors, professors, international Iran scholars with full and complete careers" who decided to go and clap Ahmadinejad because there might be some personal benefit in the whole charade?

B.T.W. I did vote in the last election and the reason I don't use my own name here is that I hope one day I'll be able to visit my family in Iran without ending up in Evin prison.

AMIR1973

West-residing IRI Groupies are applauding this farce

by AMIR1973 on

There are two of these West-residing groupies of the anti-American terrorist regime commenting on this blog applauding this nonsense as IRI "image" maintenance and PR rubbish--to use their own words. The same folks who denounce opponents of the IRI with one side of their mouths talk with the other side about the limb choppers and stoners of the IRI "moving closer to the center".

spatima

@Q

by spatima on

The crowd at this gathering is not representative of the broader Iranian community in the West, particularly our elite. IN fact it is far from it.

A good portion of these individuals (ones found at the meeting) have either went to the West on behalf of the Sultanate, have family members in the regime or some other sort of patrimonial relationship with the rotten corpse of the regime.

It seems to me you belong to this very small minority.

Please take your Sandis Khari somewhere else

In hope of a Free, Independent and Secular Iran

Samad Behrangee

What a sick joke

by Samad Behrangee on

With many of our children in prison, prosecuted and executed, this dog and pony show is sickening. Please identify and boycott these clowns. Iran for all Iranian not the Arab infested barbarians.

Abarmard

These kinds of PR is much more effective

by Abarmard on

Then having harsh words and violent attitude. Generally this is good move by the government and hope to see more of these kinds of gestures.

Similar moves during president Khatami was criticized by the hardliners. Mr. Ahmadinejad might have realized the importance of the image that President Khatami worked so hard to establish. Today Ahmadinejad was harshly criticized also and this shows that in Iran the hardliner camp is being divided to two main parties.

Now the reformers and hardliners are moving closer to the center and extremists are fighting them (In Iranian standards of course)

It cost a lot more than Sandis to take these traitors to Iran

Please review the link below to see that this was a fully paid trip including airfare, hotel accommodations, food, conference fees, and the tours.

MRX1

It's about money.........

by MRX1 on

You see they have wasted billions upon billions of oil revenue on soviet , chinese junk, palestine, lebonon, venezuela, syria, turkey, personal bank accounts of aghazadehs and mullah's , list goes on and on..... and now with the sanction on the horizon, they need cash quite bad! They know expats worth about 6 billion give and take, so if they can succeed in bringing some of it back they are happy campers.

They are also very smart, they know expats do not care for their omati islamo rubbish subculture, so they twist it and add some nationalistic patriotic dimension to their speeches and you know the saying "there is a sucker born every day" so some idiots will fall for this for sure. But that's ok folks because soon IRI will suck these people dry  and they have to return to U.S and Europe with penny in their pockets!

Q

Shifteh jan what an insult,

by Q on

I don't know which one of Javid's friends you are but I have my guesses. Do you ever stop and think about what you are saying?

All these doctors, professors, international Iran scholars with full and complete careers are there for 'sandis' ? Does that make sense to you? Are you really that blind not to see that other people could have different priorities than what you might decide is worth doing?

When are you guys going to realize that people have pride in Iran, particularly at a time of siege by world's real mozoodran.

Unfortunately not much ever changes in Tehrangeles. Rather than accepting the wide diversity of opinion that exists in Iranians everywhere, some unfortunates prefer to make up ever more ridiculous conspiracy theories to cope with reality.

//www.mardomak.org/videos/54836

Everybody has a price. Some people are satisfied with a Sandis. If we assume these people are in fact Iranian expats, most likely they were given all sort of gifts and tours etc.

I guess if they had given me a house in Esfahan, I would have clapped for Ahmadi too!
