Firoozeh Dumas

Adventures of an Iranian American author

San Francisco, Commonwealth Club of California: With exuberance, warmth and humor, best-selling author Firoozeh Dumas continues to amuse and delight with her personal reflections and stories growing up as a young Iranian in America. Despite language barriers, culture shock and the blending of traditions with her French husband, Dumas found that our commonalities often outweigh our perceived differences.

The moderator spent 7 minutes talking on a 10 minute video. After I heard Mrs. Dumas talking for less than 3 minutes, I realized that the video has another hour to go.....that is too much for me, (No thanks!) but the lady is indeed very funny and down-to-earth!

Thank you for the teaser!
