Please read Ahmad Kasravis book Shiagari, it is pretty obvious why these mullahs keep on trashing Sunnis. This will ensure power over masses. Unfortunatly many people in Iran blindly follow these people and have done so in hundreds of years.

To the person who said that in a democracy even this mullah would be allowed to say all these crap. I will ensure you that this guy would be arrested the day after he would have come with this speech full of hatred in any European country today. But in an Anarchy he would have had no problems. 

There are Sunni people with the same mindset against Shia but I blame them not as much since we took their religion and made a big pile of crap on it and called it Shia.

What do you expect from "Safavi's" mulla. This is the creation (Haroomzadeh) of Safavi. Since that time Iran is suffering. How Safavi Created it, Ask Uncle English. Because They could not defeat Ottomans directly, they concluded that the best is to attack from back door.and Since it is forbidden to fight your muslim brother, they manufactured Shia" as a true muslim", and called the Ottomans as "Sunni". Iran was the best choice, because some Iranian historically hated Omar, because of past defeat. combined with "Made in Europe" religious, with mass production of some Lebanis mullah which were imported from Jabal Aamel(Shia as a sect were living there), and the new Din came to Iran. Sinah zani, Sigheh, Dorugh, ghasam khori, doruii.... all spread by these mullahs. and their business continued, and since iran is going back and backward. what a sad situation. All great iranian poets, writer are pre safavi, and naturally Sunnis. Imagine this Mullah is insulting Saadi, Hafiz, Moulavi (Rumi), Nezami, Ferdowsi, Khayyam, Attar,ibn sina, Khrazmi, Razi... He practically insulting our fathers. No great poets since Safavi. what a shame this group brought to Iran and Humanity.

Folks, what do you expect from this guy? He's an ignorant cleric. He is trained in this crap. This is who they are. This is how they've stayed in power in one form or another since the fall of the Sassanid Dynasty. Its his craft to preach this nonsense and call any other form of belief a false one. Even the current Pop made a statement a few months ago saying: Catholicism is the only way to salvation. Meaning believers of any other form of religion are all doomed and have a first-class ticket to hell. To me this is fine, as long as that would be all they can do. But when these folks are in charge of a nation's laws then there is something terribly wrong. Because now they can shove this crap down your throat if they want to and if you don't conform with their values, you'll be prosecuted in any which way they see fit. That's the scary part. All forms of religious clerics think their religion is the real thing, all of them. As long as they don't FORCE people what to do they can scream and preach their values all they want till they're blue in the face. I just want them to do in their own hell holes. By the way, this says a lot about Islam being a religion of tolerance and understanding...!

Yes. His comments are the exact parallel of the self titled "Persian lovers" towards Arabs as a whole.

I am not necessarily a "free thnker." But in a free Iran, this Akhond should be allowed to say the same exact things. He is free to say that as long as he does not promote active hate. There will always be people who will listen to him. But that is the price of freedom. In a free Iran, I hope he becomes a comedian instead because he will make more sense and will have a much larger audience11
